  2. You go on and on about anecdotal evidence and then "studies" and you are using a 2015 study(from 2017...strange they'd not use the 2017 starters) but half the starting QBs are black going into this year(actually...more than half, but it's less than white). The first two picks of the 2022 and 2023 draft...black. The first pick of this years draft class...black. So if you want to argue there's a "racial element to which positions are most valued," then...please account for that?" I mean... it's also Football. They didn't just devalue RB because due to race, they did it because it's an EASIER position to replace. QB is the most important position in Football. Who was the ROY last year? The MVP the last several years? Are you a Football fan? Because...if not, I get it, but if you are, I have to question how honest some of these questions are... this is SUCH basic stuff. The top young QBs, Jayden Daniels, Caleb Wiliams The top QBs in the NFL overall, Mahomes, Lamar, Allen, Burrows. Who's the top paid QB in the NFL? Mahomes. Top paid in GTD money? Dak. You're really muddying this conversation by oscillating back and forth between NFL QB play(which is 10-years old and even a casual NFL fan would know is antiquated)...why QB is valued more than RB and asking if there's a racial component to it(that doesn't even seem serious frankly). Lets go to the 2nd most valuable position. WR. Just like NIL and CFB, the highest paid non-QBs are ALMOST all WRs. Tyreke Hill, Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, Ceedee Lamb, DK Metcalf... Terry McClaurin... The correlation is NOT with QBs becoming more highly valued as RBs became LESS valued, the correlation is WRs becoming more highly valued as RBs became devalued. All really moving off the College NFL deals where... you're using a year that fits your narrative but then ignoring the one that doesn't.
  3. "Beau and Mark, a former teammate who requested anonymity due to fear of retaliation, alleged Starocci took nonconsensual explicit photos of them in the Nittany Lions’ locker room. Beau said the photos were reported to Sanderson along with the theft, but nothing came of it from the coach. “I walked out of the shower to a snapshot from (Starocci) of me, naked,” Beau said. “The team had a snapchat group chat that he filled with those kinds of pictures of teammates.”"
  4. Is that you Jimmy? Nah ... nothing is too soon for Jimmy.
  5. Sure but what about Paterno and the Baylor football coach?
  6. I bet you nothing happens at all, little tough guy.
  7. Doesn't say what the photo shows. Doesn't say it was added to chat. Doesn't say anyone on the chat was visibly exposed. Doesn't say the chat was reported to anyone. Could be true, but article doesn't say and we don't know. I'd say "reread the article" but you already know this, and are gleefully spewing as fact things that exist only in your head. We all know you've been jerking off in a bowl all day, hoping Beau will do what Iowa couldn't, unleashing a decade's worth of frustration. Easy there fella. The allegations here are serious, and the facts matter. No decent person wants PSU coaches to escape responsibility if they're culpable, but no decent person wants their career ruined if they acted properly. But then again, not everyone's a decent person, are they?
  8. And assign a paid, professional wrangler...
  9. Paul158 starting a soggy biscuit for chickenhawk nuke warriors. Perfect!
  10. adults cannot believe how stupid you kids are
  11. Roe v Wade is public record. Look it up.
  12. the zohan saying businesses not in NY, doing biz in NY, will have to pay his new tax what happens when amazon stops delivering in NY
  13. Anyone else surprised given the history that Penn St doesn't run every new head coach thru the 3 day Paterno-Sandusky seminar series?
  14. I'll say it. People who went through puberty as boys should not _ever_ compete in the women's section. Ever. Muscle density, ratchet speed, bone density. I have a great sympathy for the very few trans athletes who are caught in this vice. You cannot compete in the women's division.
  15. OSU womens' wrestling team happened THIS YEAR. Gabrielle Weyhrich Wake up.
  16. Nope, dumbsh** posts like that will never make you the smartest monkey in the pile. TDS was invented for kids. Too stupid for adults to believe. But effective with children.
  17. I think wrestling has the same issues as any group that has similar power dynamics and probably has a similar rate of “issues.” Where wrestling really struggles is holding people accountable and changing things to prevent similar things from taking place. There are several current D1 coaches that shouldn’t have those jobs because of past misdeeds. At high levels, it’s a very small sport full of conservative and traditional “guy’s guys.” They don’t want to be the one to punish their friends and acquaintances; and there’s no real pressure from media or anyone else to do anything since it’s so small.
  18. When the principals, Rich Bender, get sued into the ground and not a moment before.
  19. Uncle Carter. This isn’t gonna end well for you or your nephew.
  20. Today
  21. that is the most insane thing I've read in a long time.
  22. Maybe, but I still have a different take. He's toast if (a) the photo showed private parts, and (b) it was uploaded to Snap and shared, and (c) this fact was reported to Cael (and he admits it). That's a major reporting failure, and a bridge too far for admin. But I don't think that's what the facts are, based on what's come out so far. Beau never said the photo of him was uploaded/shared with others. He also never says he even saw it, or if it showed any private parts. He also never said that any of the photos being uploaded to Snap included any private parts. (And I sort of doubt it did, because ... WTF? Why wouldn't they all speak up then?) So, when he reported it to Cael (and I'm assuming he did, along with the theft), I'm envisioning it was more like, "And that SOB took a pic of me just as I got out of the shower and laughed and ran away." That's super sketchy, but I'm not sure that's illegal. Maybe it should be, but as a general rule, you can take pictures of whoever you want, with or without their consent. If they're naked, it can be a crime if not consented to (as here), but typically only if done for purposes of arousal/gratification. Maybe it was, but Beau describes it like Carter's being a jokester in poor taste, so maybe that's how it was reported -- and how it was interpreted. If done more than once, it can be harassment or stalking, and if it's shared it triggers a whole bunch of other laws, but again, it isn't clear that Beau reported any of that. Just a dbag teammate snapping a pic of him as he gets out of the shower as a supposed "joke", which, while tasteless and unfunny, is pretty borderline by itself as far as being a mandatory report. Even if I'm wrong, I question whether the PSU admin would see it as so clearcut a violation of mandatory reporting as to warrant serious discipline. This also assumes Cael didn't do anything. If he didn't report it, personally I'd be offended if Cael didn't at least go to Carter to say (a) WTF are you doing? (b) You better have deleted that, (c) if you shared that with anyone I'll kill you myself, and (d) don't do that ever again, not funny. Not his job to investigate, but if you're going to take the position it doesn't need to be reported, you better fix it. Again, there's lots we don't know. But on these facts, I don't see a major issue, unless the PR people tell the admin that they need a scalp.
  23. then do away with SALT
  24. I don’t think the rich should pay disproportionately more. But I don’t think they should be disproportionately less either, which apparently is the case currently in NYC
  25. i can't believe this guy tries to pass himself off as anything but a leftist
