    The White House Historical Association says only three presidents' children have attended public schools (source, additional source). Those three belong to Jimmy Carter, Theodore Roosevelt, and Taft. For Obama, he said it was due to security, privacy, and the private system was deemed as the best fit (they attended a private school in Chicago before Obama became president). He did acknowledge the DC school system was struggling.

    For a completely different reason, I did reference ICE's web site (and their reference of ICE as being LEO was included in the web site reference.) I assumed intelligent readers wouldn't confuse the point that was being made with somehow it being me legitimizing the rest of what ICE's web site included. Are you the unintelligent reader who confused the point? Just asking.

    Not a random thread - based on observations. The AI posts are starting to become more frequent. They stick out because they are so poorly done right now... but as they get better, they won't stick out as much. They will get better. A lot better. That is inevitable. At some point, probably sooner than later, they won't stick out at all. I created the thread as a kind of public service announcement. Some folks don't need it here, some folks do. If you prefer to dig your head into the sand and not deal with reality - maybe you've been hitting that cough medicine.

    Why did the Obamas send there daughter's to private schools? The President is a public position, weren't public schools in DC good enough for them. If not then why not talk to the teacher union boss and fix the issue.
