  1. Past hour
  2. I could have sworn I read somewhere that it’s called X now. Some idiots can’t figure that out though.
  3. This is a nothing burger. Hardly happens at all. Another attempt from the left to turn a 1% issue into a big deal.
  4. Both a detention and an arrest are seizures under the 4th amendment. Detaining someone with particularized facts tying that person to criminal activity is not constitutional. Being Hispanic and working in a particular profession is not enough. These ice detentions can last days. There often is little difference between a detention and an arrest. If law enforcement cuffs a person without evidence, holds them for days, and releases them without charges they have still been arrested regardless of missing all the usual stuff you listed. What I am talking about here is ICE going onto private property without a warrant and detaining anyone that looks Latino. The second time Leo Garcia Venegas was detained he was the only person working in the house. How could ICE have any particularized facts that he was an illegal immigrant to detain him? How could they enter a private building without a warrant? They simply didn’t. He was a US citizen. ICE had verified this fact a few weeks earlier when they done the same thing to him at a different construction site.
  5. There are numerous slip N Tweets at the homeless shelter I volunteer at. They hate America but won’t leave. Cowards and liars.
  6. Slip N Tweetie is sad. All 18 unlawfuls in his bungalow are sad. Handouts shut off.
  7. ... and the guns were just in case someone asked to see the letter?
  8. I heard it won't be safe outside. Please stay in your house or apartment till this is resolved.
  9. You not going to respond to me quoting Trump/Conservatives saying all the evil things you say only liberals say?
  10. Feels like both. He brings up the standard theological critiques of Mormonism here and his past experience probably sharpened his feelings on those. While Mormonism has mostly integrated into standard American Christian society, there are still many Christians who despise it. Not the first time I've heard a Christian call Mormonism the anti-Christ. For example, I have a very conservative relative who voted 3rd party in 2012 solely because Romney was a Mormon. Only time he hasn't voted Republican.
  11. No, I'd already seen reputable sources. But to make you feel better, I will ask everyone to cite their sources lol
  12. I have a cervical spinal fusion. I can't imagine he is getting a fusion if he plans on returning to competition. I assume he is getting a disc replacement. Once you fuse the spine, you obviously lose mobility in that joint, but that has an impact on the other joints, especially immediately above and below the fusion site. Those joints take on extra stress that the fused joint cannot. Therefore those adjacent joints become more susceptible to injury.
  13. I could be incorrect, but I thought Walker was redshirting this year. That thought is based on a conversation with one of the family members a couple of months ago. I thought Smith seemed pretty set on the lineup from the FLO interview. Barring any injuries, I would say it's pretty solid.
  14. Huge difference! I have a feeling you know this, but for those that don't, in the most basic terms...detained is usually when someone may be handcuffed, usually for the officer and individuals safety until more investigation can be done to see if in fact a crime may have been committed...if the LEO feels no crime was committed the detained person is released, usually on the spot...if a person is arrested it is usually because the LEO has enough evidence that a crime is in fact occurred, they are then read their Mirranda rights, brought to the jail for further processing, and referred to the DA for crime, or crimes the officers suspect the person of committing.
  15. McKendree’s women’s wrestling program got a huge boost on Tuesday night as U20 world champion Jasmine Robinson committed to the Bearcats. Robinson is a two-time U17 and U20 world team member. She has captured a world medal at both age groups - earning a bronze medal at the 2023 U17 World Championships and claiming gold at the 2024 U20 World Championships. Robinson competed for the 2025 U20 World Team, but came up just short of any hardware, finishing fifth. During her 2024 U20 World Championship run, Robinson pinned her way through the tournament. We’ll also see Robinson in action internationally at least one more time in 2025. She pinned and teched Elleni Johnson in the best-of-three finals at the U23 World Team Trials, while at Women’s Nationals. Robinson has competed once before at the international level in the U23 age group. Last year, she won the U23 Pan-American championship at 72 kg. We have reached out to McKendree to clarify when Robinson will be added to the roster: for the 2025-26 season or the 2026-27 season. Robinson currently trains out of the Army's World Class Athlete Program. Because of this, it was previously unclear whether or not she’d compete at the collegiate level. McKendree is a team that finished third at the NCWWC National Championships in 2025 and second to national champion Iowa at the Region V Tournament. The 2025 squad featured nine All-Americans and one individual national champion.
  16. Please, everyone share how you are going to live through this really tough time. I know the GOVT won't be able to take care of you for awhile now, but realize, we are all here for you. This GOVT shutdown can be a very trying time. Even for those wonderful vegetarians. Hopefully they can make it through the day, even though they are used to not get their daily side of beef from the GOVT. thoughts and prayers. and please. keep those stories of courage coming.
  17. Is there a difference between detained and arrested?
  18. but white conservatives are the biggest threat
  19. i mean really... cnn is more concerned about a foreign band of drug dealers than actual US citizens
  20. but does he have a source for said letter from said lawyer
  21. Today
  22. What a revelation... that this reveal will happen... within less than a week. As The Nature Boy Ric Flair would say... woooo. D3
  23. so you admit you dont really care about sources
  24. why and how does cnn have access to the cartel?
  25. This makes me wonder if you have looked into the full story or care to take into context of what happened in totality. I'd be all for agreeing that this isn't a good look IF ICE wasn't able to arrest any of the people detained in the raid. Don't you think if you are working with and/or hanging out with a bunch of people who are here illegally that maybe, JUST maybe you are going to get caught up in these raids?? What I don't understand is the line of thinking that what ICE is doing is SO bad because a few, and I mean VERY few, citizens are getting detained in these raids versus ALL the good they are doing by capturing and removing very bad people and quite frankly anyone who is here illegally.
