As always.

That's epic.

The first part is very descriptive. Almost... too descriptive. Is the baguette in the room with us? haha
-
I did the day Thomas Gilman got hired.

Joe Kania is making wagers on the Twitter that he will be the 65 KG rep for 2028 and has even gone as far as to say that he knows things he can't say.
-
How many people predicted Spratley to be in finals last year? I’d bargain not many. 125 always has shock and awe in the bracket. Not gonna be surprised if Provo wins
-
For the most recent Oly Trials, despite being in State College all week Suriano was the last wrestler by far to pick up his credential/athlete packet etc. He didn't show up until 5 minutes before weigh ins and as best as I could tell he took an Uber to the venue in just his singlet and slides, had the Uber wait while he came in, got his credential, weighed in and then went right back out the door to his Uber. Doesn't help answer the question but that's my Suriano story and seemed as good a time as any to share it.

I don't think there's a possible dark horse to win. I think the champ comes out of the group of Robinson, LL, Sprat, Ventresca, or Jore. And none of those would be a dark horse imo. Dark horse to podium: Provo and Kael Lauridsen.

Jeez I hope so. Guy is entering his prime
-
Joe Kania ( NJ guy who used to work for Flo) swears Suriano is training and planning to make a run at 65 kg for 2028 and Joe seems to know his NJ stuff

Which Is The #1 Recruiting Class
juniorvarsity replied to Husker_Du's topic in High School Wrestling
Nobody did. I was just saying how he wouldnt be going down during Olympic years, but I expect he goes 70kg before then throughout this quad -
He’s done wrestling?
-
Dealers choice me thinks
-
While the charges may not appear that bad, I doubt Lehigh gives him a second chance. Administrators prefer coaches don't get arrested and they are not going to take the risk on a non revenue sport.

Dark horse to what? Win a title? Make the podium? Other?

Vito, Hamiti, and more in Poland next week

I saw that. He'll recover better not dehydrating his brain, though. I really like seeing Gomez at 70 KG. He's an animal. -
Which Is The #1 Recruiting Class
Winners Circle replied to Husker_Du's topic in High School Wrestling
Who said he was? I actually implied that he would be a 70/74kg guy by the list of guys I named that are all 70/74kg guys. -
I never said I don’t peruse Twitter. I said I don’t go searching it for clips. And if I post something from there I usually actually know where it’s coming from.

Our fourth, and final wrestler in the 12 seed era was the only one to ever outperform all four times where one of his podium finishes came from an unseeded position. -

He is indeed. Nice work -
The not-takedown-go-behind giving up a pushout point is stupid and defeats the purpose of freestyle wrestling emphasizing and rewarding action.
