It's gross what people in authority will do or will allow to be done. It's gross that in sports so many people in authority will ignore gross stuff to avoid upsetting a winning program. It's gross that wrestling is like other sports and other places where authority is abused.

Tariq Wilson was close as well with 3 wins the year when he almost beat Seth Gross in the Semis. Same year as Conel's run, that was a super fun NCAAs.

America by design does not have a systemic cheating scandal. Capitalism literally prevents from a state-led doling system. Capitalism promotes individual accomplishment and privatization, and these ideologies carry through at the athletics level as well. Rather than seek out USA-led doping, Lance Armstrong will find a small elite team to blood dope; Marion Jones and Barry Bonds will find a private lab for the Cream and the Clear; David Tay... uhh, "random dudes" will seek out Treigning Lab - these are just major examples everyone would be aware of. Daton Fix will buy from Chemyo and Aaron Brooks will mask from Wegman's because DHEA is obviously how you overcome pneumonia (my doctor is a plebe and only gave me albuterol and 5 days of doxycicline and prednisolone). The point is in America there is no "central" *doping system. It's is up to the individual to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and find the juice on their own.

Branch had only wins over three top 8, the #12 seed and an unseeded wrestler. Brewer also only had 3 top 8 wins, plus a win in the teens and an unseeded win. But he did it twice. However, he did it as a 4 seed and a 13 seed.

I saw an update that said his doctors told him he could survive on high concentration oxygen via nasal cannula during the day and CPAP at night and that he didn't want to do that. I sympathize with him. If true, the insurance company has an iron clad defense.
