  1. Past hour
  2. Decades ago. Wrestled in HS and right after in an AAU tournament. Later I was disqualified from ALL HS sports - because of the AAU wresltling tournament. This type of thing must have changed now, right? Otherwise how would we have out HS World Team members and such still being on their High School teams? I was doing well with Boxing in HS as well. Golden Gloves & other fights with the Club team I was on. The High School never said a word about it even as I would miss classes at times for tournaments in far flung locations. Any blowback for High School wrestlers now with taking part in other tournaments or sports?
  3. Yeah, I didn't word that very well. the joke was that Jax would beat Vito but would lose the spot because of recruiting violations (this is where the rumors about OKST RTC breaking rules comes into play). Jax and OKST then sue USA wrestling to reverse the decision, which I think would be funny because that would make it the 2nd time that Cornell was involved in a suit regarding a world team spot
  4. That's too bad!!!
  5. do you have any idea is he a like highland guy? Florida wrestling seems to be making a pretty serious jump as well as Utah.
  6. And he was in the match until he wasn't. He wrestled pretty damn well...
  7. I am trying to decide who read less of the CDC document, you or the author of this hilariously bad article (26 footnotes? Ooooo, scary).
  8. I did not think Vito outside of cardio looked vastly different from his best early. He was still super-fast. I think it is important to remember a less than 100% vito was still clearly the second-best guy in the world last year and Ono is not competing so I think Jax has a very real shot at winning a world title. Suda is very good from Japan but he beat Mongush whos best weight is 57kg 8-7 and has one or two other criteria wins this year. Uguev and Haryutunan are probably the other two big threats and Kyrgyzstan and India will be good.
  9. OHHHHHHH. OK. Got ya.
  10. Idiocracy probably?
  11. Rocklin Zinkin has eye test wise looked incredible to me but lower competition so far, the kid he wrestled round 2 was pretty tough. Dallas Russell has been a big talent since he was little, but the Cosby win is probably his breakout for high school. Willie white from Florida lost to Miller but it was 11-5 which honestly is probably going to go down as the best loss of the tournament if I were to guess.
  12. Isn't it a parroting of Nickal saying OKST is doing illegal things...
  13. The English, who invented the game, invented the word soccer.
  14. Can you unpack that? I have no idea what you are talking about
  15. Dudes, can we stop the "I know you are but what am I?" and "I'm rubber, you're glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you." taunts on this thread. We have enough of that crap in other areas. Can we keep the Climate Hoax thread about important things like cow farts? The history of failed prognostications and extrapolations. Changed river shapes, coastal outlines, and other climactic convulsions which happened before SUVs existed, The climate model which applied from all data through 1950 and its correlation to the actual measurements that occurred in the last 75 years, etc. Can the board moderator create a food fight room where our colleagues can take their "you're a jerk/ no I'm not but you certainly are" fights?

  17. The justice for little girls was the executive order banning transsexuals from playing girls sports. True justice for little girls there. Nevermind the thousands that were raped by rich white guys on Epstein Island though. Gotta have your priorities. Stick it to the transsexuals. How are people talking about Epstein when we have hords of transsexuals invading girls sports?
  18. House Rules Committee voted down an amendment to force the DOJ to release the files yesterday with a 6-5 vote. I guess we should all follow MAGA world and just move on from raped little girls. I mean, I guess I can't believe people are still asking about that during this greatest run in the history of all history.
  19. The CDC Planned Quarantine Camps Nationwide “The plan’s authors were unnamed but included 26 footnotes. It was completely official. The document was only removed on about March 26, 2023. During the entire intervening time, the plan survived on the CDC’s public site with little to no public notice or controversy. It was called “Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings.” By absence of empirical data, the meaning is: nothing like this has ever been tried. The point of the document was to map out how it could be possible and alert authorities to possible pitfalls to be avoided. The meaning of “shielding” is “to reduce the number of severe Covid-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (‘high-risk’) and the general population (‘low-risk’). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or ‘green zones’ established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector, or community level depending on the context and setting. They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.” In other words, this is what used to be concentration camps.“ https://brownstone.org/articles/the-cdc-planned-quarantine-camps-nationwide/
  20. We’ll look at that, you actually can read and recall what someone wrote. As well as fall with the emotional charging click bait from media and government, that we can’t trust, well unless they tell us stuff that gives us those warm fuzzies and then we can trust them. Speaking of emotional….”fairyin” out of this one? Your ego must be as fragile as your egg suing nut swing. What are you gonna do when he’s gone?? Good to see you again, fun as always.
  21. Sounds familiar....... The incident occurred in 2005, when Kraft visited the Russian president in St. Petersburg not long after the Pats won their third Super Bowl title. "I took out the ring and showed it to (Putin), and he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring,' " Kraft told the crowd at a gala at the Waldorf-Astoria in 2013, according to the New York Post. "I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out." The kicker to all this is that Kraft wanted to get the ring back but was strongly persuaded by the George W. Bush White House to let it go. "I really didn't (want to). I had an emotional tie to the ring, it has my name on it," Kraft said in 2013. "I don't want to see it on eBay. There was a pause on the other end of the line, and the voice repeated, 'It would really be in the best interest if you meant to give the ring as a present.'" So that's what Kraft did, releasing a statement describing the ring -- valued at $25,000 -- as a gift to the Russian president.
  22. Jimmy you’re truly something else. Send me a pic - I just need to see the legend behind these takes.
  23. If that game had been between Colorado and Inter Miami, it might not have been football - but when Chelsea plays PSG, that’s football.
  24. The Iranian wrestling commentators always say that you have to give due respect to whoever represents the USA as they will be good regardless and I think it applies to Hendrickson too. He may be even number 2 or 1 etc internationally but he is untested at that level and hopefully his future results will speak for his abilities and put my questioning things to rest in an emphatic way. I’m sure time will tell.
  25. He's the president so he has it. But to butt your way into a trophy presentation like that is just very tactless. I might understand if he was a big Chelsea fan and got carried away. Or if he had a stake in the team. But just to lurk around, and get presented a winner's medal and to take the original trophy that was supposed to be presented to the winners? How doesn't that sound like somebody who wants everything to be about him?
  26. For everyone out there - take a few breaths, relax, clear your minds, then read carefully. Trump is obviously excited to be part of a winning athletic team and excited to accept a trophy that he didn't earn. Trump, of course, has zero athletic ability and has never won a trophy in any athletic event. Doesn't his behavior (DuPont) remind you of anyone (DuPont) who was rich and had no athleticism (DuPont) at all? Yet his desire to be recognized (DuPont) as an athletic winner is off the charts crazy. (Don't forget the time Trump told Dan Gable he thought he could take him.)
