It's frustrating when you have guys like Sealey, Mirasola, Davis/Nagao, Sakamoto, McComas, Thompson, Hughes, etc. all on the bench losing a year of eligibility when they would be a great addition on so many other teams.

In their peak run from 1975 to 2000, Iowa won 20 NCAA titles. They averaged 120.22 points at NCAAs and outscored their competition by an average of 24.55 points during that stretch (granted changes in team scoring has some effect on these numbers, I just don't exactly know how much). More "parity" might not mean someone else hoists the trophy at the end of the year, but at least a semblance of a team race would be a marked improvement compared to the direction NCAA wrestling has taken since the 2022 season.

I don't think the money is the issue for Iranian guys to come over its moreso the visa situation. In the past high level Iranian athletes have struggled to come to the US and compete in various competitions because of it. Especially with the current climate, I doubt there would be much incentive to ease those restrictions. Of course if RAF could become global it would be amazing for the sport but for the Iranian guys to come the tournaments would have to be in UAE or something kind of like how UFC does it.
