He was so fun to watch at this tournament and extremely impressive (other than his conditioning lol). I wouldn’t doubt him, but I have to agree with others that are saying it will be a difficult path for him. It’s historically tough at 65-74, and he probably is caught in the middle. Can he put on enough size to be an effective 74? Can he stay small enough to be effective at 65 in 2028? I highly doubt the latter. Heavyweight definitely seems to have more longevity, so the odds would say Zare has a better chance for that title.

I think a lot of people consider Lee's window for success to be much smaller due to his physical issues. The man is not a young 26. He will be just shy of 30 at the next Olympics which is when Taylor won his Gold. Lee seems to really be made for freestyle, and I think has pushed expectation higher. I don't think he "needs" to leave Iowa but I do think every athlete benefits from a new voice from time to time.

People on this thread site have mocked me for using big words. People get offended when they feel they are being spoken down to. Yes I see the irony in speaking down to you in an attempt to educate you about speaking down to people. When perceiving to be spoken down to an emotional response can happen and you may no longer be listening for the purpose of understanding, but waiting for you chance to interject the nature of your perceived offense. So it can be beneficial in certain circumstances to dumb things down. For example, visiting a doctor. There is a tiny chance someone could understand what doctor is saying if things are not dumbed down at least a bit. If you're not as upset with doctors dumbing things down, which is way more impactful on your life, than a politician you should ask yourself why you care? Is it just a way for you to flex your rage at a political party, an opinion, or a person from a particular group? To answer your question, no they are not ‘too’ dumb. That’s how she feels is a productive way to communicate. Sorry that makes you mad. have asked yourself why you’re so mad?

Here is how I see it. On Monday, way before Kimmel taped his show, it was shown clearly that the shooter had turned to the left politically. He was not a maga person at all. Quite the opposite. Then later, Kimmel tapes his show and in his monolog states that the MAGA Rs are doing whatever they can to disassociate themselves with the shooter. This wasn't a mistake. Kimmel was clearly trying to equate the shooter with maga which was clearly demonstrated as incorrect. Talk about disinformation and no, he was not doing this as part of a joke. It was a statement. The rules for a licensee is to act in the public interest. Since when is it in the public interest to flagrantly lie to the public about an issue of the day. Opinions can be provided etc. But to present something as factual when it is a lie in not in the public interest and it is about time that action be taken on this kind of false reporting. Not only that, if Kimmel was a major money maker, Disney would not have rolled over. They would be able to demonstrate that the show is a profit center rather than a cost center. Unfortunately for Kimmel, he aped Colbert's use of the airwaves to lie to his audiences and his audiences tuned out. If Johnny Carson had alienated half of his audience like these useful idiots, he would not have been the King of Late Night. These useful idiots have alienated half the potential market and probably many on the other half as well. Hence low ratings. Kimmel is a victim of his own hubris.
