Well, if he can't be convicted, then this is a waste of time. But they could be doing to him what was done to Trump which was to try to bankrupt him. Apparently that is a well rehearsed thing the government does in all ages. I'm not for it as that is morally wrong. But it has been done before countless times by states and the feds. If there is no real case against Comey, then this is for show. I think there is a real case on his use of the FISA warrant process where he knowingly allowed evidence to be presented to FISA that was false. That is corruption of the highest order. mspart

True...and true. I hope I am wrong.
-
Well, he was a civil servant, not a politician so there's that. I think him going to FISA to get warrants when he knew the evidence he presented (or his people presented) was false. That should be actionable in my opinion. mspart
-
Yeah when I saw that he was indicted my first thought it'll more than likely get tossed. The courts would be filled day and night if we actually held politicians responsible for lying...unfortunately it is the way it is and we as a society accept it.

Maybe Trip can go for a desert bike ride and snuggle with a Saguaro. Although I wouldn't recommend it. However there are nice float trips just outside Phoenix that are pretty nice to do. That might just be the remedy. We went on one while vacationing there. We saw wild horses and my daughter wanted to go pet them thinking she was the horse whisperer at a young age. mspart

https://www.foxbusiness.com/media/legal-expert-sees-no-viable-case-against-james-comey-after-trump-doj-indictment Legal expert sees no viable case against James Comey after Trump DOJ indictment Former FBI director faces charges for allegedly lying to Congress about Trump-Russia investigation handling As former FBI Director James Comey publicly defends himself against a grand jury indictment, one legal analyst and former assistant U.S. attorney argues the case needs to be "thrown out." "I don't think there's a case," Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy said on "Mornings with Maria" Friday. "The Russiagate stuff, I'm as big a critic of that probably as there is. I wrote a book about it. I think it was a disgrace and history will remember it that way. This indictment is not about that." Interesting take on Fox News that might surprise the hacks out there that say it is maga only. mspart

Seriously Trip...do you spend all day and night obsessing over Trump...go enjoy life dude. I bet if you didn't sit on social media, the internet or watch the "news" and went out and enjoyed life you wouldn't even know who the president was

No idea but logically Hughes 41 Jamison 49 Swiderski 57 makes sense. But there's talk of hotshot freshmen doing well too, Jamison wanting to do 41 again, Swiderski wanting to do 49... folks are still kinda getting used to Coach Taylor's different approach weight management too so we'll see! I'm excited for the season, I always say football season is the best because it means folkstyle season is coming soon :)

THIS...this right here!! Trump PERSONALLY gets a $2 BILLION BRIBE from the United Arab Emirates in exchange for giving them — and China — our most advanced microchips. This is the very DEFINITION of corruption. The New York Times just exposed a massive quid pro quo at the heart of Trump’s new administration: the United Arab Emirates quietly funneled $2 BILLION into a crypto company (World Liberty) DIRECTLY OWNED by Trump and his family (and his shady real estate buddy Steve Witkoff) and almost immediately after, Trump MAGICALLY greenlit a highly controversial deal handing the UAE hundreds of thousands of America’s most advanced AI chips. These weren’t just a few leftovers. The UAE demanded HALF A MILLION of Nvidia's cutting-edge AI semiconductors every year — chips so advanced they’re considered the crown jewels of American innovation. These are the chips that power military drones, autonomous weapons, and AI systems that the Pentagon has repeatedly said are key to the global arms race. And what country is the UAE cozying up to? China. They conduct joint military drills with Beijing, co-develop weapons, and even filled their own data centers with Chinese tech from Huawei and other companies that U.S. intelligence warned could be used to siphon off American secrets. The Biden administration told the UAE: NO WAY. TOO RISKY! Trump, on the other hand? His White House fired the officials raising red flags, rolled out the red carpet for UAE’s national security chief, and inked the deal IMMEDIATELY after the Trump family’s crypto startup MAGICALLY received its $2 BILLION windfall from the UAE. And it gets worse… At the very same time Trump and Witkoff were dining with UAE’s Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed (the shadowy security chief who wears sunglasses indoors like a Bond villain), their sons were busy finalizing the $2 billion transfer into their brand new crypto scheme, World Liberty. That one check instantly turned World Liberty into one of the world’s biggest crypto players — and guaranteed Trump’s circle TENS OF MILLIONS in personal profits every single year. So yes, while Trump was literally promising to hand over America’s most dangerous technology to a petro-state tied to China, his family was cashing the check. Even insiders in Trump’s own administration admitted they couldn’t tell whether he was representing America’s interests — or just his own bank account. Now let’s pause and imagine for one second if this were Joe Biden. If Hunter Biden got a $2 BILLION check from a foreign dictatorship and then the White House handed over half a million of our top AI chips? Fox News would detonate on live TV. Tucker would spontaneously combust. Sean Hannity would chain himself to the Capitol dome screaming “TREASON.” But because it’s Trump? Crickets. Or worse — the spin. You can already hear it: • “This is actually good for America!” (Sure, selling our crown jewel technology to a dictatorship in bed with China is definitely genius strategy.) • “Hunter’s laptop!” (Because when Trump literally sells out U.S. security, the only defense is to scream about Hunter’s emails from 2012.) • “It’s just business!” (Right, except the “business” here involves national security, military AI, and the President’s own wallet.) This isn’t “business as usual.” It’s Trump selling out America to the highest bidder. Trump turned our most sensitive defense technology into a bargaining chip for his own enrichment. Even some of Trump's own aides admitted the deal reeked of corruption. One NYT reporter put it bluntly: “It’s not normal for the president and his Middle East advisor to have a financial interest in matters they’re negotiating.” And yet, here we are. Trump didn’t just bend the rules — he shattered them for profit. He sold out America’s national security to make his family rich. If he’ll hand over AI chips that could power China’s next generation of killer drones, what wouldn’t he sell? Because for Trump, America ISN'T first. America is for sale.

Talk of Herman (OSU) moving up to 165. Sounds like 157 was a tough pull last season. Paddy and Birden are also at 165 with Kharch at 174... -
How about 1976.....142 pounds ....Brad Smith of Iowa on the bottom half and Brad Smith of Toledo on the top half of the NCAA Championship bracket. Smith of Iowa to the finals and Smith of Toledo loses in the semis 5-5, 0-0 criteria to keep it from being an iconic matchup. Smith/Iowa wins in the finals and Smith of Toledo loses to Steve Barrett, the NCAA Champion the next year, for third and fourth. Fadz.

Ironic indeed... but I have been around long enough to know THAT one! (What is one, not like the others?) (They were the headliner that day when me and my Marine buddies saw them... plus The Outlaws, Blue Oyster Cult, Lynyrd Skynyrd (before the plane crash), on the JULY 4TH, 1976!!! in (I believe) Memphis State University football stadium!)) A long, kick-ass day! D3

I think he is already at 675? By season's start? Let's say 684.5? The guy who knows lifts in me wants to say under. The guy who knows he is 30lbs heavier and considerably more powerful just because of that wants to say over.
