Why do we need to kill someone to save lives? I understand the argument, but simply locking them in a cage for the rest of their life serves the same outcome. It also allows for a mistake to be corrected if we find out the person is actually innocent. Once we end their life we can't bring them back. I am not sure the death penalty actually serves your point that it will save lives when a less extreme measure accomplishes the exact same thing.

I completely agree when it comes to single legs. Zepeda doubled him from space twice and took him down without much resistance both times. He rubber knees like Crookham though from a single.

Knox is missing a signature win to me unless you go back to 2021 who's 1 over Lilldeahl or and that was before Luke cemented himself as the guy he is now. If we want to look at those who made the finals and took second we have: SRs Missouri, Ohio State U20 2 Missouri, 2 Penn State, 2 Oklahoma St 1 Michigan 1 ASU 1 Nebraska 0 Iowa Sinclair was a finalist in both SRs and U20 at different weights.

Not sure how you get that from what I said - some guys transfer every year, so no. It depends on the transfer credit policy at the destination school; not every school allows unlimited transfer credits.

Bassett is the next Spencer Lee. He wins at least 2 individual titles and 1 Hodge. Mocco will win a NCAA title or two himself.

I really don’t see an issue with this. The kids are wrestling within their appropriate age group or even above it in some cases. Sophomores and juniors wrestle each other all the time, so that argument doesn’t hold much weight. At any typical high school tournament, it’s completely normal for a freshman to wrestle a senior without any concerns.

It's amazing how Iowa fans like the pastry are twisting themselves into knots that Bassett "looked good" losing. He's going to look "great" in college then when he can't physically bully other wrestlers. Now the pastry is pointing out that Mirasola only had pushouts on Mocco as a slam on Mirasola instead of the fact that a non-physical heavyweight was able to physically manhandle their other prized recruit.

Agree 100%. But I just wanted to point out to Mr. Pastry that Bassett looked good against everyone who has little to no college resume. The only person he wrestled who has a respectable college resume, kind of put it on him. Yes, I know Bassett is still only a junior in HS, but he's got work to do.

Push outs suck. I think Mendez won by a lot of push outs in one of his matches.

Stanich's shot defense was/is next level, we saw that in both his semis and finals matches...what Bassett needs to work on as he gets ready for college (take this observation with a grain of salt. I was nowhere near the level of wrestler he is) is his mid match tactics and adjustments. He seemed to try to stick to the same gameplan in the finals and I think it cost him.

He wrestled 65 kg this weekend. I don't see him cutting an addition 18.3 lbs, making it on a consistent basis, and being any kind of effective.
