The best thing for us is for them to be themselves. -
That one guy in the crowd laughing is going to a special place in hell.

What views are ass wards? -
headshuck started following Obama’s and Clinton’s thoughts and prayers

This is good. Now get in front of some microphones and talk to Americans, media and politicians to tone down the rhetoric.

Today was a Political Assassination

I think it was calculated and maybe he was an intelligent guy, but the shot itself and the equipment are far from professional level. -
New suspect: they have a name, Salt Lake City resident, some military experience.

They have Cael Hughes at 141 ,Tagen Jamison at 149, and Teague Travis at 157 for the pokes. Do they know something we don't know, did they forget about Swiderksi, or are they just guessing?

I enjoy gymnastics. About a year ago I watched a video of girls doing men's gymnastics and then the men doing female gymnastics. It was entertaining.

The President is one person. He is not "people." Sure he cares about this one as Charlie is "family." Are you going to care more about family or someone you've never heard of never met?

Today was a Political Assassination

If it was somebody who was an amateur, I think they would have been caught already. The things that have supposedly been found, I think it's a little too convenient. It definitely leads somewhere, but that somewhere is where the shooter wants it to go. It doesn't come across as something somebody did out of anger. It just seems too calculated. -
Ah. I misunderstood your previous post. My apologies. I agree with your sentiment. It's frustrating when you have guys like Sealey, Mirasola, Davis/Nagao, Sakamoto, McComas, Thompson, Hughes, etc. all on the bench losing a year of eligibility when they would be a great addition on so many other teams.

She'll be begging to back after they find out where that money came from.

How many other shooting victims have the president show up to talk with their relatives? How many others get to be flown home on Air Force 2 with the VP? How many are immediately considered for the medal of honor? I'll wait.

PSU's average team score from 2011 to 2021 (pre-transfer portal and NIL era) was 121.3 and they averaged 10.9 more points than the highest placing team other than themselves in that same window. In the 4 years since NIL and penalty free transfers PSU has averaged 154.625 points and outscored the second place team by an average margin of 62.85. In their peak run from 1975 to 2000, Iowa won 20 NCAA titles. They averaged 120.22 points at NCAAs and outscored their competition by an average of 24.55 points during that stretch (granted changes in team scoring has some effect on these numbers, I just don't exactly know how much). More "parity" might not mean someone else hoists the trophy at the end of the year, but at least a semblance of a team race would be a marked improvement compared to the direction NCAA wrestling has taken since the 2022 season.

I tried to get back involved again in a uncommitted coaching roll, but 2 weekends in a row of spending the whole day in a gym after decades of the smell of mats and I decided my life needs some variety. Making wrestling your work sounds like the dream, but you give up so much. Now I'm enjoying the sport even more as a fan.

Basically you're pretty safe if you do the opposite of what Rock Viking says to do in just about anything: finances, politics, morality, polishing rocks. -
My money is in a very diverse mutual fund. Through Capital Group Funds. It has performed very well even through Covid and the Biden debacle. I'm up about 13 percent this year. I wish I had put more money in it.
-
I reckon its the opposite tbh. There is nothing from Emami that suggests he can medal this year whereas Javan is at least younger and with a favourable bracket might be able to pull off an upset or 2. Especially since 61 is weaker this year with Ono out.

The real problem with RAF sustainabilty?
Lucho replied to BruceyB's topic in International Wrestling
I don't think the money is the issue for Iranian guys to come over its moreso the visa situation. In the past high level Iranian athletes have struggled to come to the US and compete in various competitions because of it. Especially with the current climate, I doubt there would be much incentive to ease those restrictions. Of course if RAF could become global it would be amazing for the sport but for the Iranian guys to come the tournaments would have to be in UAE or something kind of like how UFC does it.
