Oh... yeah, they stole ONE BILLION dollars out of the 30M in funds. Just... so corrupt!
-
I think I know what one is. It’s confusing today with all the made up nonsense though
-
LOL... so what? Are you completely missing the point? Did Obama run his political campaign on his ability to secure a book deal?
-
Buddy, if you've made it this far in life without learning that... I feel REAL bad for you!
-
Well. What is one?
-
Ahh... yes, the great Matt Walsh. One of the great intellectual minds of our time. Just asking questions... Notable works, "What is a Women," and "Am I Racist?" RV...c'mon. If you don't know what they are... why are we sticking up for BLM? They're not a serious group.

You agree 1/2/3rd graders shouldn’t be taught about trainings or gay dudes or lesbians right ? Just reading writing and arithmetic correct?
-
1st second 3rd graders shouldn’t be asking about why teachers are telling them about trannies. Or Lesbians. Or gay dudes.
- Today
-
No. I went to school before teachers were overly politicized. My kids on the other hand they started with the politics in around first/second grade.
-
Play. That. Card.
-
its the only way the narrative can work....doesn't have much to do with reality or their merit, but as fans the narrative is either boring or a tragedy.
-
Shocking. Not shocking. Seems to be a theme with fraud lately.
-
Considering the history of academic institutions in this country, neither of those statements are totally inaccurate.
-
Did you take a college math class that involved politics?
-
Prof at UofI said math is racist another one said Engineering is sexist.
-
It’s bad. I don’t believe she was actually affiliated with BLM though, definitely wasn’t a co-founder. “Amuse” might be the biggest liar on x fwiw.
-
White Conservatives are the biggest threat

How do kids this young learn to be extremists? -
Not 1 leftie on this board will acknowledge this is bad
-
Teaching math or science or history or other stuff should not be political either but ….

A lot going on with this story. ICE states he had a final deportation order from 2024, and an existing gun charge from 2020. https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ice-arrests-criminal-alien-serving-des-moines-public-schools-superintendent-prior They also state he entered via a student visa in 1999. A lot of people are taking this to mean he overstayed that, but ICE did not say that and I doubt that is the case. However, after the alleged 2020 gun charge, he was hired by two different school districts. He did also plead guilty to a seemingly different gun charge from 2021, where he was not arrested and paid a fine of less than $200 half of which went to the game commission. He stated he was licensed to carry at that time (which would prove the “overstayed his visa” claim wrong if true), and the Des Moines school district confirmed they were aware of that charge (also that they performed a third-party background check on him). He is also a former Olympian. Not really relevant to anything but interesting to note especially on a forum such as this. https://apnews.com/article/iowa-des-moines-superintendent-ian-roberts-b52a9ea28d002d27832c67513403368e He did run from law enforcement, so that’s not good for him. But this guy seems to have a lot of support (hundreds were already protesting downtown), so I’m hoping we get some more details about the 2020 charge and his previous deportation proceedings. Very little information out there so far about those 2 things in particular.

Recruiting for the Panther Train got its first passenger from the Class of 2027 as Hayden Schwab (Don Bosco, Iowa) announced his verbal commitment to Northern Iowa. Yes, that is Hayden, the oldest son of UNI head coach Doug Schwab. The younger Schwab is a two-time state finalist in Iowa's 1A division. He was a runner-up as a freshman in 2024 and a state champion in 2025 at 120 lbs. Schwab has placed four times in Fargo, winning double 16U national titles in 2024. Also in 2024, Schwab made the 2024 U17 World Team in Greco-Roman. Earlier this year, Schwab made the best-of-three finals in the UWW U17 Trials in freestyle. About a month later, Schwab competed up an age group and went 1-2 at the U20 Trials. Though his father is the UNI head coach, Hayden did take an official visit to Cornell and was slated to visit Iowa this weekend. Two weeks ago, Hayden took an official visit to UNI. Schwab is the #15 overall recruit in the Class of 2027 and is currently ranked second in the nation at 113 lbs. At the next level, Schwab projects as a 125/133 lber.

My wife, a former ADA, read the indictment and said, “I’d be surprised if this makes it to trial”. She then found footage on C-SPAN that shows that Halligan misquoted Comey. If Comey presses, Halligan could be disbarred, and in a future administration, could be prosecuted for malicious prosecution. Ironic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spencer said that he doesn't watch video and that freestyle is his strongest style. I agree that Hartutyunyan deserves more credit for the win.

It's really not that surprising. I think it has more to do with the job not being political. Teaching wrestling is not a political endeavor. This kind of thing happens all the time in the public sector. Lots of career civil servants have worked under both openly republican and democrat administrations. A liberal mailman isn't going to quit because republican is in the white house. A conservative garbage man isn't going to quit because a democrat is now mayor.
