  1. Past hour
  2. He’s been trying to make that point for like 40 pages of posts.
  3. Some rare individual stocks maybe, for startups. Not any diversified portfolios. Not remotely close. Pie in the sky. Nice winger spin tough.
  4. Because it is illegal and there is absolutely a chance that if this wasn't a sting, that Kyle Snyder would have been soliciting prostitution from someone that was trafficked into the industry. He is participating in what is currently a very toxic exchange that often involves a party that is only "willing" due to fear of the repercussions if they don't. I get what you're saying. If two consenting adults want to have sex with a monetary exchange, that should be legal. However, soliciting a black market service that relies heavily on human trafficking to provide sex workers? Yes, I absolutely have a problem with that. He shouldn't be excused because there should be a better system in place. He participated in what is currently a very dark and sad industry. And that's only what I think of him and the crime.. the fact that he would do this while having a wife and two kids at home is where it becomes a real scumbag act.
  5. Wait, is that the point you've been clumsily been trying to make? That he's not going to receive like a direct deposit into his bank account? Lol. Are you actually a 5 year old?
  6. Definitely don't think it would be quite as bad publicly if it weren't for religion/god/bible always being so in your face like it has been with a lot of these guys... I can't even begin to imagine athletes in another sport wearing all this 100% Jesus trained apparel which I find very odd but also not saying it doesn't happen. This reminds me a bit of people like Tiger Woods/Lance Armstrong etc... that put out a squeaky clean image only to be found out to be much different in their personal life. I also don't think this was a one off mistake... One thing is certain for me however and that is I will never be able to look at him the same way again without thinking of this first whether that's fair or not... He may make a comeback eventually but the damage is certainly done to his reputation on a broader scale regardless how you feel about prostitution and cheating on your wife all while proclaiming to follow in the lords footsteps...
  7. Why ? No idea what he’s like. He said 79% of prostitutes have some sort of tie to trafficking. I just made the 83% joke is all.
  8. Stocks are a form of gambling. There is always risk. You get to choose the amount of risk. Some people take huge risks in gambling and in the stock market. Sometimes it works. Some people are a little more conservative (low risk) when they gamble and in the stock market. My portfolio seems to weather these uncertain market fluctuations pretty well. For some it's been painful. For some it's really painful.' You made the choice.
  9. Ah man, you broke character. Get back on the horse and fire off those zingers
  10. I don’t take much into account what Johnni D says.
  11. Well I assume there will be ongoing education and incentives to grow the money. My first comment listed the benefits of learning how to invest at a young age.
  12. Yeah earlier I got into my feelings on that. To me (and I'm not semantically correct on this point), i wouldn't call him a hypocrite unless I thought he was being consciously dishonest when he brought up faith. I'm probably giving him more credit than most would at this point but I think he's just a dude who screwed up......however if someone asked me if I thought this was the first time, and how that affected my opinion I'd have to start squirming.
  13. There have been many 18 year runs where it would have gotten well into the lower 5 figures.
  14. I'd bet it's not the first time, but first time he's gotten caught. These things are slow building. . . likely started with pornography, strip clubs, and fan girls if I had to guess. Obviously unsubstantiated, not judging and none of our business, but I've been where he's at. Look, I cheated on my wife in 2009- it was a dirtbag move and worst decision I have made in my life. My wife blamed herself! 16 years later I'm still working every day to build trust in my marriage, but we survived, and I know Kyle will also. Nobody feels worse than Kyle and his wife right now, and they've got a lot of work to do moving forward if they choose to stay together. Good thing is, wrestling teaches us the kind of accountability needed to take ownership for our actions, accept responsibility and consequences, and fight/determination to change so we can keep the things that are important. Love him or hate him, I hope he and his family come out better on the other side.
  15. You’re correct in answering nope to Trump making any money off the plane. Nice job !
  16. Is the 4.4 Billion the Clinton Foundation stole from the Haitian people in 2010 an "Unbelievable level of grift"? When the Haitian people got only 2% of donations and only 6 houses were built. How about Chelsea Clinton pocketing about 90 Million of that. How about the 45 Million Obama has collected from Obamacare at 2.5 Million a year. I always enjoy your selective outrage.
  17. Yah. It will surely grow by 15,000% in 18 years. Is that more winger math?
  18. You have the best username of the day. Kudos and a hat tip!
  19. it is patently false to describe what has been reported as a felony. there could be more details yet to be reported that could make it rise to the level of a felony, but as reported, that is false. just take the L and move on dude.
  20. I'm pretty certain it's because the whole jesus thing is shoved down everyone's throats nonstop. How was your ankle pick? Thanks to god. How do you defend an underhook? Mine's powered by the lord. 100% jesus. Etc Etc Etc. If you're going to talk that much talk then you better walk the walk. Because not all of us believe what you believe, so don't be a hypocrite in a terribly public way.
  21. Huh? If you don't think prostitution should be illegal, then why are you jumping all over Snyder for doing something that you think should be legalized? If your point is that Snyder shouldn't have been soliciting someone who wasn't capable of consent, such as someone underage or mentally ill, then I'd agree with you -- if it were true. But it's pretty obviously NOT true, or else he'd have been charged for that. He wasn't. It's just a garden variety case of someone texting an escort who has an ad up, goes there, pays her, whoops it's a cop. That's it. So yes, I absolutely can excuse the conduct, at least criminally, because I think it's a disgrace that it's a crime at all. And, moreover, it's a problem that is readily solvable, if you preachy religious types would get off your high horse long enough to do something (decriminalization) that respects personal and economic liberty, stops patronizing women, increases public health, increases tax revenue, and, by virtual of mandatory registration, enables police to easily spot women who are NOT in the business consensually.
  22. Thank god it’s only available for us citizens right?
  23. Imagine that $1000 growing enough to pay for their college education? Taxpayers pay $1,000 vs $150,000 for college loan bailouts.
