it's a really weird post and someone should tell him to stop. Regarding Gabe though, in a preseason presser last year Tom Brands made an offhand comment about Gabe and his off season activities. I think Bob was referring to Gabe not living "The Wrestler Life" as opposed to disparaging his mental health struggles. It was still a bad post though. With the way things are going, I do wonder if we will have General Manager type roles in college athletics soon

I like him to Iowa too. It felt like it was a good fit and I want to see the talent spread out. Penn State will have a hole at 149 after Shan Van Ness graduates(unlike every other PSU weight class). So there is lineup synergies with him going to PSU. My prediction is that he goes to PSU.

The final straw was allegedly when the person who put up Bassett's NIL money said some things online disparaging an Iowa wrestler going through some mental health issues. Issues can affect families behind closed doors.
