  1. Past hour
  2. You're probably not wrong that he's in the mix. Especially with him already in final X next year. But while 65 was very tough, I'm not sure Woods beat anybody close to Forest's win over Suda. Woods wrestled one guy listed in FLO's pre tournament top 10, and it was a quick TF loss. I don't say this to dismiss his performance, but more to dispute you using weight class strength as an argument. 65 is tougher but Forest wrestled harder opponents.
  3. Yes, his full potential is Olympic Gold (or silver as you say). The point of this topic is asking why he didn’t reach his full potential this weekend. How about giving your own theory instead of just criticizing others?
  4. Its definitely growth for Pyles....Sacha Baron cohen wouldn't have had the balls to bring up the hooker thing directly.
  5. But I was super impressed by Zahids dismantling of ghasempour.
  6. I think after this performance, you have to include Real Woods in the conversation. He medaled in a heavier and tougher weight than Jax was in. He obviously made big strides and is pretty new to freestyle, so he probably has a good learning curve.
  7. Pritzker playing politics. Remember when Disney fired Gina Carano. Weird right? Pritzker slams ABC’s indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show: ‘An attack on free speech’
  8. if he's too big for dake he could take maroulis.
  9. Trying 24 year olds as minors in dc and releasing them. Which one of y’all did there doing their best job policing?
  10. his lying eyes and ears no longer useful he turned to a leftist rag
  11. But she didn't get any of them Wkn fantasy thingies she got "3 pins."
  12. A fair statement. That said, they both dominated their respective weight classes at the Senior Men's Freestyle World Championships. That in itself is a HUGE jump from WTT. I guess your point is that Zahid was already at a much higher level. I just feel that the inconsistency of his previous senior men's performances really disappeared here. There was not a scintilla of that inconsistency in ANY of his matches.
  13. Zahid 3 techs, one decision, allowed zero points Helen 3 pins, one decision, allowed two points At first glance you have to give it to Zahid on the no points allowed, but there is nothing more dominating than a pinfall.
  14. Don't know about that but may be mayoring to the best of his ability. Thats who he is who they elected what they got.
  15. Here is an illegal alien running over a 16 year old who wouldn’t sleep with him … on camera .
  16. Yes, I said Zahid MAY have leveled up at this tournament. I said that because he clearly showed tremendous improvement over the past year… and he was already pretty good after narrowly losing to juiced up Olympic bronze medalist Brooks by the slimmest of margins. Then, after moving to Stillwater, he handled notoriously stingy Kyle Dake multiple times at OTT. I would say that Hidlays improvement from WTT was much more noticeable.
  17. Which one of y’all thinks they are policing to the best of their ability?
  18. Today
  19. Zahid "may" have? Zahid was a different wrestler in this tournament, not in style, but in just about every other facet. His cardio was so much improved, dare I say David Taylor-like. His attacks were crisp, and there were no dives onto the opponents legs. HIs attitude, motivation and confidence are all visibly different. There's no doubt that Trent has levelled up. There's also no doubt that Zahid has levelled up. The biggest question for them both now is consistency. Remember, on any given day... They both had great tournaments. Can they continue the momentum next year? Trent looks big at 92kg. I imagine he will look bigger in 2026 and 2027, and I am guessing that he will look to go to 97kg for 2028.
  20. Yesterday
  21. Kimmel did it religiously. This is a collective thing and this pushed it over the edge.
  22. And congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran for winning the team title. People tend to value the individual gold medals more, but to put forward a team that could produce a team title with fewer golds than the US is quite remarkable. They are young, as well. This bodes well for the future of freestyle wrestling.
  23. I don't know if Amouzad will be the GOAT of Iranian wrestling. I don't know if he'll be at 65kg for the 2028 Olympics. I don't know if he'll be at 65kg next year, but it won't surprise me if he is. I just want to say "Thank you" to him for providing some excellent wrestling in the 2025 World Championships and looking pretty much like a freight train against all his opponents, except perhaps Sujeet. He made a pretty strong statement this year. I feel the same way about Zahid, and I think DT has really provided an excellent environment and fantastic coaching to enable him. NCAA wrestling is only going to get more interesting and less PSU dominated with DT at Oklahoma State. Thanks, Zahid. Thanks, Rahman. Thanks, Amir Zare. Thanks, Trent Hidlay. Thanks, Kyle. Thanks, Kota Takahashi. Thanks to the other champs as well, though I haven't really watched their matches yet. How about North Korea? They have made a strong showing this year, taking a gold in men's freestyle and medals in women's freestyle as well.
  24. That was pretty quick. I am happy that a broadcast network takes the threat of losing its broadcast license seriously. Carr of the FCC cited this: Carr has justified his hands-on approach by citing a 1934 law which states that “because a given broadcast network is granted airwaves to use exclusively as its own, it needs to operate in ‘public interest, convenience and necessity,” according to The WSJ. Is misleading the public in the public interest, convenience and necessity? I don't think so. Kimmel made a statement, not an opinion. He stated as fact that the shooter was maga because maga is doing everything they can to not have him be maga. Well, the shooter is not maga. If you don't know if the shooter is maga, don't say he is. It's very simple. Conjecture is not news. But conjecture provided as truth and news is news and can mislead people into believing falsehoods. That is not in the public interest, convenience, and necessity. At least in my opinion. All Kimmel had to do was say this was his opinion, or this is satire, or a joke, and he probably would have been fine. But he was too full of himself and has gotten away with this sort of thing for so long that he was not concerned with the truth of the matter because he didn't need to tell the truth before. I think he, and ABC, have a different opinion now. mspart
  25. WOW. Calling a minority a piece of garbage.
  26. Wow, he got grilled the past 2 days. Very much exposed. Refused to answer very simple, straight forward questions and lost his temper and attacked senators when exposed. GUILTY!! LOCK THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE UP.
