Poll: PSU or OSU, who are you fanboying?

I didn't know that Japan and Russia did that but it makes sense since I saw that their teams were different to what they had at the continental tournaments. I don't think its a bad idea if we do the same but I think at this age level getting these kids to wrestle is the most important thing. I would much rather our guys lose now then at senior level. An olympic/world medal is worth 1000s of these junior golds. I think it would be better if we sent guys to the u15 asians and u23 asians than anything else. I reckon send like the second string guys to u23 asians so they can also wrestle even if japan and some of the other countries don't send guys there.

I'm surprised you're able to not suffocate by forgetting to breathe.

Japan sends the trial runner up to asians, you will see they have a totally different team between worlds and asians. They do the same for juniors also. I think it's a good way to let more guys get international experience. Russia also sends their trials runner up to euros. USA is wrestling pan ams which is a terrible continent for wrestling.

So I guess I missed this or forgot but whatever happened to Chittum? Did he ever end up at Chattanooga? -
I feel like since our u17 guys couldn't compete at Asians they are a little disadvantaged compared to everyone else. I reckon that's the big differentiator this year as this is their first international competition of the year. In saying that though we sent 5 guys to the finals and have potential to win 7 medals with 3 gold. It's also good because we sent our 45 and 48kg to the finals and that's where we are really lacking in talent and depth. At the end of the day all that matters is we develop guys for the senior team. The US historically has not been always dominant in junior level but always produces top talent when it comes to seniors.

... that's it. That's all I got. D3

Why did the ice agent have to take Xanax? Because of Hispanic attacks. I'll be here all weekend.

Damn it! That's the spirit, HL3... ... and for THAT, I'm giving you an extra crispy baked potato (w/ sour cream, as well!) D3 -
Actually I forgot the 92 guy. He should win. Ukraines 80kg must be a national war hero. He beat Iran and Russia for gold.

You’re condoning one. While denigrating another. May as well say it. It’s what you mean. Or. You can acknowledge just a few short months ago the other team was doing similar shyte -
Also we have 0 chance in any of the finals. 0 golds this year for cadets fs
-
Damn lol I see even the 80kg kid lost to Ukraine. Thought he would get gold. As windows said, its 3 - 1, but yes. We may underperform considering how well funded the federation is lately and more importantly the amount of wrestlers we have. USA is lucky all their more talented guys wrestle freestyle/folkstyle, our talent is split between greco and fs. We would do better if Sourian, Saravi, Esmaili etc had all done freestyle also. Japan probably overperforms the most in terms of medals compared to total number of wrestlers.

"loathsome" with big scary slimy halloween capital letters with ghouls popping up from behind them. I actually like cael's never say anything brand of heel much more than taylor. -

Loathsome? Or wholesome? In Cael we trust. -

i appreciate that sentiment but trust me when I say "fanboying" i'm referring ironically to the loathsome idea that everyone is probably gonna have to have one horse in that particular race. -

You are back to attributing to me things I did not say. Stop keeping on. -
I think the count is 3 to 1 as Alizadeh at 92 did beat US wrestler. There are two more matches I think tomorrow. So it’s a bit early to draw conclusions. If Iran win the team competition at freestyle then they will have won both Greco and Freestyle and against robust competition. Best judge the outcome tomorrow I would have thought.

I think he was from VA but MD might have been a possibility too. Good call on Morgan St.
-
Actually, what I said was entirely accurate. Spencer wrestled, was hurt and out for the season - THEN Nicky Skeletor decided to wrestle. Very easy to prove...

You fanboying Penn state will certainly detract from it. Please reconsider

At the Cadets, three of our guys faced Americans-and all three lost. Something’s seriously off. Considering how much money our federation spends (honestly, is there any wrestling federation in the world that spends more than Iran? I don’t know about the others, but I seriously doubt it), these results just aren’t acceptable. The federation always hides behind team results. But who even cares about team scores? Dabir sees those results as political PR for himself.
-
Or 97 for that matter.

And Spencer's senior year.
