  1. Past hour
  2. I know. It's "lots." So many that... it's not even worth naming all of them! And again, even the companies that move their headquarters, they keep the core of their business in California. Oracle(I gave you a 3rd) runs from it's California offices. It's where the majority of it's workforce is and where they're programmers are. And if California didn't have to subsidize so many Red States, their own States taxes would be a LOT lower. ... "what the word losing 40 million a year means?" What is "the word?" You realize that's multiple words, right? Also, I said literally nothing about their P&L. I said you don't know what the word "subjective" is. See, when I did it, I actually used a word. When you did it, you used... a sentence. You also realize that... still doesn't mean someone is funny or not, right? Do you understand why he was canceled? -Do you get he still had the highest viewership, 2.4M a night? -Do you understand people 18-49, the most valuable demographic has largely cut the cord and they're now streaming. So despite his viewership still being dominant, the more important demographic, among which he was...again, still the most popular, well there were less of them watching the show live... as people did in the good old days when Iowa was still the top program. They now stream the show, fast-forward the commercial. What do you think that causes? That's rhetorical, it causes advertisers to pay FAR less in advertising fees. This, NOT the success of the program of the perception of Colbert being "funny," which again, is...objectively...subjective, led to the advertising dropping from 440M per annum to ~220M. That's a 160M a year loss purely due to how people consume Television. It wasn't some larger statement about who is "funny," though with the moron we have running the country suing people for free speech, and paramount going through a merger, that...very likely played a role. In any event, that you thought comedy wasn't subjective isn't NEARLY as stupid as you thinking a TV show that tapes in New York City somehow contributed to California's value to the United States in terms of GDP and more importantly, where 5 of the largest 10 companies in the WORLD are located. I can't imagine someone saying California is important and coming back and answering, 'err...why, because a show they tape in New York City that loses money!' Please Christ tell me you have someone manage your retirement for you. I don't care if they charge 10% per year, you seem like the type who'd invest in DJT or Trump Steaks while saying "Crypto isn't real money! Suckers! I'll never!"
  3. Today
  4. Ha. Ai Trump https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8kCh3o7/
  5. I googled and the first thing that came up was from the Whistle Buoy Brewing Co, and was called Hazy Kale Ale with Anchovy. I didn’t see any reason to continue scrolling…
  6. Don’t know if you’d consider it political but Zero Dark Thirty is one I’ve watched a bunch, and probably will many times again.
  7. There's a reason for that.
  8. Argo was excellent. But that said. Argo f**k yourself.
  9. Can’t say I’ve even heard of it actually.
  10. Have you ever had Kale Beer? Why or why not?
  11. If my calculations are correct I would've needed 150 cups of kale to survive today. Can you imagine ... we didn't tame the west, win WWII or fly to the moon on freeze dried kale.
  12. Kale supports things like bone health, good for the blood and preventing heart disease, anti cancer elements, vitamin c and immunity elements. Not something that tastes great by itself but great in salads, good with a nice chunk of Barrata and some balsamic vinegar. Throw in a blender with some watermelon, cucumber, lemon, ginger…..nice tasting super smoothie. I mean, I wouldn’t make it as much a priority as nice New York strip and a couple free range eggs. But it’s good stuff.
  13. Those pots are actually made of clay.
  14. People have been trying to find the maker of that pot for like 10 years now - both to thank them for embarrassing these clowns and to buy a few pots from them!
  15. Was going to respond with Not Necessarily the News, and in particular the segment “Sniglets: words that aren’t in the dictionary, but should be” West Wing was a good one. Watched that a lot. Charlie Wilson’s War is a great movie. For a night in with your lady, if you can cook and know a good bottle of wine, “The American President” isn’t a bad choice.
  16. WTF are those made of?
  17. Failed attempt by Islamic Republic Navy commandos to break a pot - right in front of their army commanders. (Clip’s from like 10 years ago)
  18. I don't think that's how it works. I think Cody Howard was un-enrolled for a period of time to help with roster/scholarship limits or something along those lines and his eligibility clock kept ticking.
  19. Never saw Not necessarily the news but house of cards was decent initially. Also never was able to catch the British version. Homeland was more Of a spy thriller but that was pretty good early on from what I recall.
  20. Yeah one of the seasons got into the local politics aspect right? I watched the first two seasons which were awesome. I know the wire has been critically acclaimed for as long as it's been around .
  21. Eeehhh Eeeehhhh Eeeeehhhhh Eeeeehhhhhh Eeeeeeeeeh!
  22. I agree. Let's say he seems more Buchanan than someone just chasing a bag? Injuries can fck you up HARD at the D1 level.
  23. I don't actually think she was - it was tongue-in-cheek. I think where there is smoke, there is fire and the cowards are afraid of getting burned, so they've skulked away.
  24. Would the wire on hbo be considered political ?
