  2. “Subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is the wording that will determine the outcome.
  3. Abortion badically didn't exist back then. Otherwise they would.

  5. For me, it's not even his attitude (although his attitude informs his behavior). If you tell a mom that her child is ugly, it doesn't matter whether you believe it or not, or even if it is actually true: you're still an a**hole.
  6. where does it say naturalized citizens will have their citizenship taken away. it says BIRTHRIGHT not naturalized...
  7. so point me to a part of the constitution. or a federalist paper... or any other work that a founding father that said a woman could abort any red parasite viking
  8. Based on the wording of the 14th amendment, one could certainly argue that is in fact not the “logical resolution”
  9. Awww. Couldn’t find it in the doc now could you.
  10. Taking away citizenship for naturslized citizens. Makes me sick.
  11. Ever hear about freedom and liberty? Do a word count for those 2 words.
  12. In wrestling we are particularly given to holding up certain figures in borderline religious, certainly cult-like ways. The wrestling community doesn’t know what to do if it doesn’t have somebody to bow to as the next “gable”. This (apparently, I’m just hearing about most of this stuff this week) leads to narrow, myopic, and uncritical or highly unobjective lenses being applied to lots of situations. Sex-related and abuse-related topics all bursting forth at once smacks very much of a broader issue of a lack of accountability or standards maintenance as a community.
  13. Lack of empathy isn't the flex that some seem to believe...
  14. The logical resolution will be that children born of illegal aliens will not be given citizenship.
  15. Today
  16. of course. but that's not what he is claiming to be afraid of
  17. Not a difficult question. All it would take is for one of the person's parents to be a US citizen at the time of the child's birth. The child would be a US citizen by birthright.
  18. you could just self deport... you have thought about it
  19. love to see the works our founding fathers put together for that abomination tell me which federalist papers to read
  20. It's a god given right, per our great founding fathers. There's no more fundamental freedom than the freedom over what's inside your own body. See Roe v Wade. Before we had activist judges.
  21. I think your understanding of the matter is what is shifting because of how detailed and verbose we have to be in order to get the point across that this isn't a matter of denigrating his belief in god but rather his attitude. And after having to fully lay out the reasons people find him a bit insufferable at times you may finally agree but that would mean admitting you may have been partiallly wrong or at least give ground to the opposing viewpoint which is a bridge to far for some on here.
  22. Exile to Sudan for flag burning? Hmmm…
  23. When they have one. All walks of life have occasional problems, why should the 99% be subjected to being required to bow down to those, like you, who want to make some isolated incident into a common indictment?
  24. There has been no goal post shifting. The messaging has been consistent
