  1. If you follow wrestling it’s known that cook goes for the big throw and pin. It’s what he does.
  2. Well of course
  3. All depends on who’s making the report
  4. Eventually there will be a slot for the sec east and west division champ. Same for the big 18 or whatever it is. Again the spots will go up higher than 12 eventually too
  5. I also don’t think they’ll stop at 12 teams. FCS has 24 in their playoff after being at 16 for years.
  6. Just like they used to before the conf championship games were played.
  7. It will also be interesting to see if the conference championships remain a thing. With the At large bids being half the 12 team field I can’t imagine conferences will want to stick one of their better teams with a loss in that game. Could negatively impact a team getting a bid or at a minimum a lower seed.
  8. There are currently 10 FBS conferences. They’ll use the six champions out of the ten with the highest ranking.
  9. I believe there are ten total FBS conferences. They’ll use the six champions with the highest ranking so it could be different from year to year. I think this covers realignment that’s probably still coming by not designating the six and letting the rankings play a part.
  10. It sounds like the six top ranked conference champion teams qualify. Of those the top four receive a first round bye. The rest I’m guessing are picked off a similar criteria to what’s being used now. A combo of strength of schedule, record, head to head, common opponents , injured players.
  11. The portal is exactly why you do it. Doesn’t work out buy some more kids and move on.
  12. Oh no. Not that. Bahahhahahahahah
  13. Your significant other must be disappointed
  14. Franek was an AA last year. Franek 4-0 vs Zerban last year. Swenson 1-0 vs Zerban last year.
  15. I worked for a company that had a test with standardized questioning as part of the hiring process. Couldn’t get people to pass it. Went to questions that adjusted based on answers and it all went away. Candidates weren’t good but at least we had people. I’m so glad I’m done dealing with todays workforce.
  16. That’s the problem though. They think because they’re smart(er) they shouldn’t have to work for it.
  17. From what I quickly looked at regarding ACT scores. The avg composite score in 1995 was 20.8. In 2022 it was 19.8. In 1995 38% of hs graduates took the ACT. In 2022 it was 36%. There are more people taking the test now because there are more students but the % is down.
  18. That’s the point of having the digital test. They make the questions easier as you get the hard ones wrong. Fewer hard questions more easy ones.
  19. It sounds like on the digital SAT they’re scaled to ensure you get questions based on how you’re performing as you go. In other words more of the type of questions someone knows the answer to instead of the questions they get wrong. Seems to me with smarter kids and an easier test the scores would move much more than the 1-2% you’ve referenced. I haven’t looked into it but are ACT up significantly?
  20. So LSU was overrated and Texas was underrated
  21. 2023 Strength of Schedule Alabama #3 Texas #17 Florida St #50
  22. If it’s so easy and people are smarter now why aren’t the scores that much better?
  23. When Texas played Alabama the first game of the year what were they each ranked?
  24. It’s really a power two already and will be even more so next year when the PAC 12 disbands.
