  1. Well , i doesn’t take a rocket scientist to deduce that the elite have avoided Indiana for several years. And , that if Indiana wants to be relevant in the BIG and produce AA’s , the coaches need to keep said elites in state or recruit equal talent from other states. I’t didn’t happen the last 7 to 8 years of Duane Goldmans era, and has continued thru Escobedo's reign . This is what will ultimately make or break this coaching staff.
  2. Easy now! Don’t get carried away here!
  3. The hex is gone.
  4. The “BIGGER ONE “ is tomorrow!
  5. This year the match will be in west Lafayette. Last year in Bloomington, Purdue won 17-16, winning 2 out of the last 3 matches. PU has won the last 12 matches in the series. Wrestlestat is givin the Hoosiers a runaway W, 21-13. I’m not buying. Seems closer. The 157 lb match being the marquee , Gilcher for IU and Coleman for PU
  6. Way too much Pennsylvania and Iowa hype o his website. Good info for Illinois/ rodents lstch
  7. I like the enthusiasm.
  8. It’s the haves and have nots, in this conference. And by a wide margin. Won’t change any time soon. Don’t mean the Marylands aren’t a good tream
  9. So is Indiana, wait , they are the cream and crimson now. Never mind
  10. Also, a guy with this much coaching talent. (You remember he had the #1 recruiting class two years in a row ,committed to Northwestern ?)by now would be leading another school to great heights.
  11. Yes same here . A very strong personality? Makes wrestling a short term profession? Ok , yea, maybe. But realistically ,this is maybe far reaching ,as a decisive reason for his disappearance from the wrestling scene. I mean this guy could recruit and develop like no one, in an Ivy League like admissions, and did not have the full 9.9 scholarships available to him.
  12. I know he went to Binghamton U. As assistant. Just wondering.
  13. HooHooHoo-HOOSIERS!
  14. Good match, both squads competed hard
  15. So wrestle stat has it Rutgers in a 1 point win. I don’t think it will be that close. Last time the knights were in Bloomington, Nicky’s Dad was caught threatening Angel from the stands. Officer was dispatched to the stands. But don’t know that much anymore about Rutgers. And is all the their starter’s health?
  16. That’s a hell of a reach for him if he does continue at 84. But I seriously doubt it. Indiana has holes to fill, I just think this was a good call to win the dual.
  17. Nick South, certified at 65 ,wrestled Wilcox of Ohio Friday night, then bumped up to 84 against Maryland. Nice call by Indiana to win the match and dual.
  18. Opens a lot of doors
  19. I agree with you on this this Jimmy. Hands down. Lee is an animal. And ain’t done yet.
  20. By the way was marylands number one fan there tonight? I didn’t get to tune in.
  21. Nice job Indiana. Since Angel has been in charge the squad has always fought all three periods. Out maned or not they keep hammering for the full match. Unlike in the previous Goldman era. The last 5 or so years.
  22. Man would have not thought indiana In this one. Nice win for he Hoosiers. Bottom feeders care fighting each other.
