    Agree. Lucas oil is more apt to handle the championship. As Nick stated, a lot of people would be driving more than flying. An easy 6-7 hour drive would incorporate a good percentage of wrestling fans home bases.

    The state of Indiana has a big wrestling fan base. Not that holding the championship there makes any difference. Travel, lodging, food, etc, would not create any problems. Holding the event in the football facility or NBA facility would be an option. I personally would prefer the basketball facility. But the city of Indianapolis could put on a good event. As they have with all the other national and international events hosted there.

    Sorry,But you are, by saying this. If the People that have legitimate reasons, problems with the event being held in Tulsa , and are put into your “a fan base will never be satisfied with anything “ this justifies Tulsa is as good as any location to have the Championship.

    I disagree with this premise. You can’t say this to justify a location. Some complaints are warranted. Others aren’t. Some are petty. Some complaints are major obstacles.

    There have been a few weak points ,at some of the NCAA championships , over the last 10 years or so. Tulsa was pisspoor.

    Theo, thanks for the link. And Prior to 2020 , the rest of what you state here , is how this would have been handled. Not the political volley ball that it blew up onto.
