Pico was another one that I think we all had high hopes for, at least on the international scene. He had a nice bounce back win at UFC 327 and I hope he can continue to climb. I think Gable will be just fine in MMA with time and training with Jon Jones. And let's not forget...he's a multiple time NCAA champ, Olympic champ, nearly made an NFL team, was in the WWE, in the UFC...and he's 25 freakin years old!!!

Sorry, didn’t mean for a “bite”…was a legit question to generate discussion. My question is if Dana allows him to compete in 2028. If he does what I think he’ll do in the UFC over the next 12-18 months, his payday would be a lot higher in the UFC if Dana said no. I doubt he’d risk that, but let’s say Dana said yes. Can he win another Oly gold?

I’m sure he’s just doing RAF for a paycheck and seems like he’s all in for MMA. BUT…why not question if our defending Olympic Gold Medalist takes a stab at being a 2-timer? Taking it a step further…if he does decide to go again, can he beat Wyatt?

I really hope we never see Kade Moore again. Maybe Boogie if Walker absolutely has to take a RS (I'd like for him to, but not at the cost of seeing Moore in the lineup). Can Hilton make 133? I really hope Heiser can get in the lineup...

Seems there’s more of a pipeline to Missouri from Texas than OU. Allan Hart is an assistant coach at Allen HS. I was thinking there’s another former MU wrestler or asst coach that is a HS coach somewhere in TX, but can’t remember who it is.

As lean as he was at 197, I imagine he could hit a buffet a couple times and be at 230 no problem. My question is…how is the strength & conditioning coach at UALR, the dietician, etc. They’re the key to a move like this. Depending on how big he gets (factoring in his height), I see him as a mid-level AA, maybe high AA if everything goes right (and with Little as a training partner).

Um. You forgot Clark, Gilman, and Ramos. Will be a battle for the 125 and 133 spots this next season for sure.

True. Most of his success this season had a lot to do with his power at 25. He’s registered at the open at 61kg so I guess he is closer to 33. I can’t imagine Davino moves up though.

Serious question…would Zan beat Bouzakis? I assume there’s no way Nic makes 125 for a full season again, and I’m guessing Davino stays at 133. Why would tOSU spend NIL money on Zan if they have a capable, AA threat in Bouzakis for that weight?

Yea, Young Bucks was a FloFilm. It’s great. I was hoping they’d do a follow on when that group (Mendez, Bouzakis, Feldman, Shumate and Geog) were seniors. Since Mendez never took a RS couldn’t have all been the same season, but wish they did a follow up. Some of the other FloFilms are great too…just wish they made them more often. Hopefully DT doing his thing will push them a bit.

True. Although, anywhere that will pay him a bag (which I assume he expects) would likely not take little brother. He couldn’t get out of the SoCon. I also can’t imagine any team that’s chasing a trophy would pay him anything significant with his (and both bro’s) track record of dipping out after a loss. In a team race for a trophy, every point counts and MFF because you lost doesn’t bode well. So what schools have the money AJ is looking for, aren’t in the hunt for a trophy, and that he hasn’t already screwed over/been dented by? Out: OK State, Iowa, Nebraska, UNC, tOSU, Iowa State, Michigan, PSU. My guess is VT. Pair him up with Bo Bassett.

So IF ol’ fast twitchy can convince the NCAA to give him another year after a RS, Oly RS (is there not a requirement that you have to wrestle at the Open to get one of these?) and injury year (after wrestling 10 matches), he’ll try for a 4th NCAA medal at his 4th different school. Has that ever happened before? 4x AA at 4 different D1 schools? There’s not a loyal bone in that guys body.

That’s interesting. He portal’d out of Mizzou back home to Minny last year. I’m surprised he’s not staying home unless someone is throwing him a bag…
