What happened to Kade Moore that they pulled Walkers redshirt?

My guess now is that Jax doesn’t go, although I hope he does. I’d bet they save his remaining 5 for #4 Frost (ISU), #11 Ayala (Iowa), #16 Campbell (VTech), and #18 Farber (UNI) to get him the best tests.

I asked the question, then looked it up. I think he’s out of attached matches if NDI counted…but maybe it didn’t since I don’t think it was an NCAA event? If it did, he went against Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Little Rock. Then he was at the Cougar Clash (open tournament I believe, although he had 5 matches there too). Then soldier salute and Cyclone Open which I believe are both unattached. All that to say…I have no clue how many matches he has left to keep his RS.

I should know this, but how many matches does Seth have left to keep his RS?

I’m gonna try to go into it with low expectations for the tigers and stay on the bright side of getting to see some of the young studs. Plus, I’m going to get a hotel and have a quiet weekend away from a house full of cranky women. That alone will be a win

For sure. Regardless of team score, the opportunity to watch Forrest (hopefully), Vega, Robideau, Lockett, Steed, Sinclair, Merrill…can’t pass that up!

That’s awful. I understand that wrestling is life to these D1 athletes, but I hope he’s encouraged by those around him to take some time off (even if it’s a short amount of time) to grieve. Thats a strong young man to go through all that and still be competing at a high level.

I don't buy Brock Rathbun's post...Brands may be crazy, but he's not "kick the #4 wrestler in the country off the team for no reason" crazy. There's a reason he's gone. The NIL money piece seems to be the central theme. Did Mo go back and say "Hey, I've proved myself and ranked #4...pay me more or I'll leave"? Did Iowa promise something with NIL that they didn't deliver and Mo didn't read the fine print? Did the checkbook run out? Brands seemed PO'd when he announced it, so might've been the first one. Either way, best of luck to Mo in whatever he does next. And congrats on becoming a father!

That would be awesome if that’s the case. The description on the website doesn’t say anything about what you can get…I just know what I got. I’m all for supporting this great cause and they’re just getting started. Hoping someone who has some pull see’s this and can make some adjustments. Great opportunity if it’s done (and marketed) right. Sports cards are a hugely profitable market…just have to make it worthwhile for the collector.

For anyone associated with RAF, I'd like to suggest that going forward, if you produce more trading card packs, you include autograph cards or SOMETHING more than just basic base cards. When you're charging $7/card ($30/pack), and in a market where there are very few collectors (basically only the freestyle wrestling community), it's kind of a ripoff. I bought 3 packs ($90 + shipping) and got one card /99 and the rest base cards /900. I'm all for supporting this great promotion, but you already have the athletes under contract...if you want to continue to sell things like this, make it worth while to the people supporting your league. Maybe it doesn't matter since you sold out 2,000 packs, but I doubt that will continue after people realize what they're getting. I won't buy anymore unless the product improves...and this is coming from someone who collects EVERYTHING wrestling (and is an avid sports card collector).

That would be quite a jump for Heiser. I would bet Logan Cole or Sinclair put on weight and go up. I don't know if Stoner or Stillwell could come down...? Or a transfer.

I think Smith said at the beginning of the season that Edmond was too big for 141. As much as he gasses now, I can't imagine how bad he'd be at 141. As much as I'd love to see Mendoza in the lineup now, I'd rather him RS and be in the lineup next year with Mauger/Walker/Seltzer/Mendoza/Rath/Bambi/Steed/Aeoden/???/Stillwell.

I'd love to see them all as much as possible. While the 3 star freshmen (#2 Vega, #2 Robideau, and #2 Lockett) have some big wins, I think they still need as much high level competition as they can get. Vega - Could have had #9 Land, although Land only beat Mizzou's backup 16-13. Vega likely would have eaten him for lunch. Outside of Vega's MD over Hardy, he wrestled #7 Jack and #11 Bailey to pretty close matches. He needs some more tough tests if he's going to compete with Mendez. Robideau - Would have liked to see him against #7 Webster. Robideau the most impressive of the three to me so far with what he did to Cardenes and Vonovich. I haven't been that impressed in a long time. I think he beats Watters but needs the comp. for Duke. Lockett - Don't think the Cougar Clash would have helped much with competition. Big wins so far over Caliendo and Garvin, but Messybrink is a different level.

My impression was that DT sent guys that need work...Figs, Swiderski, Facundo, Ryder. Not sure I would say Doucet needs a lot of work. I actually thought we might see Spratley and Merrill after their NDI performances. But, who knows who's nursing injuries. Non-related question...Did Richy Figs get any NIL money?
