Like I said before, the Hi-Point C9 is the most common weapon used in mass shootings. Do we ban all 9mm handguns?

I believe this was covered in the woke dictionary thread: conspiracy theory = disagreement with leftist narrative Lab leak conspiracy theory, Hunter’s laptop conspiracy theory, Joe’s dementia conspiracy theory, etc. J6 hearings didn’t prove anything. No judge, no jury, no defense, no evidentiary oversight, no produced by news directors, basically no reasonable jurisprudence whatsoever… That would be like saying JK Rowling proved wizards exist by writing Harry Potter.

Encyclopedia Brittanica a better source for a definition, or are you just one of those people who says, “Well, that’s not what it means to me, so you’re wrong.”? (Which is precisely what you’re doing.) You probably think “a well-regulated militia” means a militia for which the government has set “regulations”. (Which would nullify the purpose of the second amendment.) assault rifle Written and fact-checked byThe Editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica Last Updated: Jul 20, 2023 assault rifle, military firearm that is chambered for ammunition of reduced size or propellant charge and that has the capacity to switch between semiautomatic and fully automatic fire. Because they are light and portable yet still able to deliver a high volume of fire with reasonable accuracy at modern combat ranges of 1,000–1,600 feet (300–500 metres), assault rifles have replaced the high-powered bolt-action and semiautomatic rifles of the World War II era as the standard infantry weapon of modern armies.

If we are calling AR-15’s “weapons of war”, shouldn’t we go by the war expert’s (say, the US Army) definition of what an assault rifle is? An AR-15 is a sporting rifle. It is not the weapon of choice for mass shootings. Hi-Point C9 9mm’s are used in mass shootings 100:1 to AR-15’s.

Will the judge in the Hunter Biden case shoot down his plea deal.

Don’t be envious. If your dad was President who needed to launder money, and you had a crack habit to fuel, you’d do the same thing. -

Sounds like Joe needs a dog walker. Let’s see… coke found in the White House… Joe’s German shepherd bites 10 secret service agents… secret service says they can’t figure out who’s coke it is… the picture is coming together now. -
Sure. I was away from the forum for a couple of days, but have we talked about Bronny yet? If not, why not? USC requires all students to be fully-vaccinated and fully-boosted. He just began practicing at USC, so it only follows that he was likely just boosted. Now he goes into cardiac arrest. Is this just another coincidence that is irresponsible to even think about, let alone question? Hell, even Sam Harris (one of the most intelligent human beings on the planet) who was a big proponent of the Covid shot has now said if he had teenage boys, they wouldn’t be getting the shot, and he will no longer be getting boosters as the scale has tipped between benefits and risks. Side Note: Dick Durbin (D-IL) who wanted congress to pass a bill forcing vaccination, is now in quarantine for Covid for the third time this year.

The funny thing is, when this plea agreement was first struck, Hunter’s lawyers (along with corporate media and all of the DNC pundits) came out saying this brings the years-long investigation into Hunter to a conclusion, and it was a whole lot of nothingburger. The prosecutor (with the persistent urging of the judge) made it abundantly clear that is not true. What it looks like is Hunter’s lawyers (and prosecutors?) were trying to pull a fast one, and the judge caught them in it. Their defense against any prosecution moving forward (or reason to halt any further investigation) was going to be double-jeopardy, saying the plea agreement covered all past crimes, thus he’s been punished. Typically, one enters their guilty plea, then the judge accepts or rejects the plea agreement, in full or part, and imposes a sentence and/or conditions in addition to the plea agreement, if the judge so chooses. She didn’t allow the plea agreement forthwith because she believes he is facing a longer sentence for other crimes than she could statutorily impose for the three counts presently against him (~12 years). I’m actually starting to think, when they iron out the plea agreement (limit its scope), the judge is going to impose some form of punishment, even if just a term of house arrest/ electronic monitoring. She is showing some gall by making him actively seek employment and submit to random drug tests while on bond. This shall be interesting… or a whole lot of hoopla for nothing. -

C’mon, every article that I’ve read on CNN and MSNBC made it very clear that she is a Trump-appointee. Why would they go out of their way to let the reader know that, if it wasn’t the reason why she rejected the plea deal? Clearly there is no other explanation. -

It’s a MAGA judge. What else would you expect? -
Did you watch the video? It explicitly states that it is not equating wokeness with radical Islam (and neither am I), it is showing how the two ideologies operate under the same structure. And, no, I do not think Islam, a religion of peace, is dumb… Radical Islam, the “religion” of death to all infidels, throw gays off buildings, stone women for overseasoning the Baidi Roti, etc.? Yes. That is dumb.
-
The commonalities are interesting. That is all. I have no agenda other than to point out the absurdities and inconsistencies of wokeness. It’s a lot like Flat Earth Theory, where you think, “Man, these people can’t be serious. Nobody is this dumb,” but, lo and behold, there are both wokesters and flat earthers who are dumb enough to believe in what they are spewing, respectively. The rest aren’t as convicted but still do it for attention.

So you’re saying you’re good with glorification of violence, but you’re against veiled calls for violence?
-
Even if I take you on your word that you want to quash any glorification of violence, don’t you see it as more than a coincidence that we’re going to start with a country song by an outspoken conservative? Is the left going full-on puritanical? If “veiled calls for violence” in songs are too dangerous for people to hear, where are we going to stop with censorship of music and art in general? No talk or depiction of drugs, sex or violence in any songs, movies and books? There goes well over half of the Billboard Hot 100, Box Office Top 10 and New York Times Bestsellers.

15th person in Chicago this year charged for killing or attempting to kill someone, while out on bail awaiting felony trial (8 murders, 21 total victims)… https://cwbchicago.com/2023/07/hitman-killed-target-while-on-bail-for-trying-to-disarm-cop-prosecutors-chicago.html I guess that’s not too bad compared to the previous few years..

Has Lebron or Steve Kerr posted their tweets defending China’s stance yet?

That’s what I don’t get. The outrage because it’s a call for violence. Are you F’ing kidding me? There are a million examples of “gangster rap” that explicitly call for violence, but here are a couple infamous ones that “just” potentially incite violence against police (no reason to post the lyrics): In 2021, Billboard called “Fu*k Tha Police” by NWA the #190 song of all time… up from #425 in 2004. Time Warner defended “Cop Killer” by Body Count/Ice T in an editorial in the WSJ, and it was roundly defended as free speech as H.W. Bush railed against it. Then we have Eminem’s “Guilty Conscience” which checks off several boxes of despicable behavior, and it was nominated for a Grammy. I won’t post the lyrics. Bob would ban me, and I like bullshitting with you guys.
