    That’s a parent being a parent. Kids were devolving from wrestling to boxing and he’s the parent of one of them. Should he be on the mat? No. But I don’t hold it against him. Kick him out and everyone moves on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    USAFA has the prep school, located on the south side of the USAFA campus. One of my employees used to be the superintendent there.     I think he’s great. Do I think he needs a lot more reps at international tournaments? Yeah, absolutely. I was just shocked (horrified?) that he had no clue what to do with Musukaev. I don’t think he was straight up out-classed; he’s beaten people that have beaten Musukaev. But he dropped the ball there, for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    He was at 65kg for the OTTs in 2021 and went 0-2. Lost 8-2 to Ashnault and 12-2 to Nick Lee, who wasn’t a full sized 65kg at that point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I would hope he’d learn from his mistake last time. He walked right into Musukaev’s best stuff and didn’t make it to the second period. The best thing to do with Musukaev is handfight super hard and a protracted scramble if it goes to the mat. Evan Henderson has beaten him doing exactly that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lee displayed a real lack of preparedness against Musukaev a couple months back. It really looked like he had no clue who he was wrestling, and Musukaev’s strengths (first two minutes) and weaknesses (matches longer than three minutes). He showed the ability to go with a world medalist; does he have the ability to execute a game plan against top Euro competition and use his motor to his advantage? We’ll see.
