  1. For a guy so sure of his opinions, the OP got remarkably few of the facts correct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 57 and 65 are just wild, every year. So much parity. That said, if _______ (insert American here) was on Rivera’s side of the bracket this year, Yianni/Lee/McKenna likely make it to a medal match, at the very least. 86 is boring. Two horse race with bracket position determine whether Amine, whichever Russian and some other randoms make it to a Bronze match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Huh? The current trial is for DAMAGES. The previous bench trial (which Trump elected to pursue) was to determine civil liability, where he was found liable. That one ended in late September. How are you so mistaken about this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thank you for the correction.
  5. I thought Evan Wick was transferring to Lithuania? Also...86kg?
  6. Up? I thought Parco should move down to 141. He looks small for 149. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Webster beat Mendez at the Open, not U20 WTT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Styles make matches interesting. Kasak barely beat Cornella at the US Open, then beat Webster 15-7. Webster then beat Cornella 10-1 at the WTT challenge tournament. Mendez then beat Webster 6-3. Then Mendez beat Kasak 4-3 (Kasak with the only TD) and then 9-1 in the best 2 of 3. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Kasak. Unless he can make 141, he’ll be behind SVN for two years. 9. Webster is really good. Looks like he could grow into 165 eventually. Long frame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. CBU looks a weight smaller than every Iowa guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Why? Cael isn’t his brothers. Now, Tony at 184? That’s wild. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here’s the thing you aren’t considering: Hamas considers martyrdom the best of all possible outcomes. Particularly if it leads to Iran and other countries getting involved in a shooting war with Israel. And, if they achieve martyrdom and civilians die along the way, so be it. Civilian casualties are a feature, not a bug, and actually serve them by drawing the ire of Iran and other countries. Unfortunately, the regular Palestinians are caught between two groups who don’t care much for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Like I said: the mean streets of Wheaton.
  14. I'm from the mean streets of Wheaton, my man. And, that place closed like 20+ years ago. A couple of my wife's cousins went to GBN, though.
  15. Aaron Nagao - Penn State (New school)
  16. A real test of endurance.
  17. Galaxy World. Wow. Haven't heard that name in a long, long time. The Ace Hardware that used to be across the street had a bunch of great model railroad layouts that the 6 year old version of me loved.
  18. Why don't you take yourself back across North Avenue, old man?
  19. FWIW, Mekhi is wrestling Starocci at 174. I know it was rumored he was going up but apparently not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Over on the PSU board, several of us have noted that Cael might plan on RSing Haines anyways and that it would be pretty funny if Haines wins and then we don't see him again this year.
  21. I have to correct you here: the deep hole is evidence of a munition specifically designed to penetrate the ground before detonation, but not necessarily a tunnel. The munition could have been quite a ways off of its intended target and still had the same effect on the ground; i.e., leaving a crater after detonation.
  22. As to the lack of Iowa partipants at the All-Star Classic, here are some gems from HR/GIA: "Iowa isn’t gonna help promote an event at state college" "Woods was going to wrestle Alirez but Alirez is taking an ORS and hasn't been training folkstyle. So Woods decided against competing" It's during the week between Oregon State and ISU. "easy to be supportive when it's in your home gym" (talking about Penn State)
  23. Pretty sure the owner of this website confirmed that on Baschamania today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. But according to the experts on HR/GIA, the HWC > NLWC, for the college kids at least, because their guys actually practice with the college wrestlers.
  25. It's not an official match, so yes, he'd be eligible to RS. He has both a normal AND OLY RS available. Both Messenbrink and Haines certified at "165", so between 157 and 165. Given that neither of them has made the move to get big enough to be a full-feed 165, I'm guessing one of them is taking a RS, and that Facundo will be the 165 this year.
