The point is you are free to believe whatever you want and others can have a different opinion. You don't set the standard. There are a lot of reasons a prosecutor may not file charges, a he said/he said case could be hard to prove beyond reasonable doubt so they don't file charges or the alleged sexual victims not wanting to go public or have their names out there for the PSU mob to go after her. From the outside, it doesn't seem Carter is a great guy so I am not going to get worked up every time someone calls him an abuser even though he may never get charged with a crime. You can obliviously take a different opinion.

I don't follow PSU message boards so what makes anything Syd Bartlett has done as "undignified at best"? From the outside she has just spoken up for what she sees as wrong. What are the non PSU worshipers missing?

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the ACC, it could help lift up one of those programs but he would get more exposure in the B1G.

I have never heard of the podcast so maybe it was an attempt to drive awareness, but it will be hard to take them seriously going forward. I am sure after the article came out, people in PSU's administration followed up and asked more questions. But even if the worst stuff is true,which I doubt, someone other than Cael would take the fall.

I do wonder if wrestling part time is going help advance Bo's skill in MMA. His presence will likely help RAF but I wonder if it will Bo in the octagon.

It really stinks for Koll and UNC who did the work to recruit a wrestler only to have the football coach's GF have a say in the administration.

I think he can still compete next year if he gets a waiver signed by Iowa now that we are outside of the transfer window. That's how Burwick eventually was able to compete the season after Bono and UW "came under fire" from the message boards . Iowa may not want to release him and they likely won't get any public pressure unless those wrestling journalist release more information that sway opinions toward Arnold...

If I understand your comment correct, yes. In the mainstream sports there is enough general fans to support media companies employing someone who will discuss the sport and report on all news, good or bad. In wrestling, there isn't enough eyeballs for anyone to justify such a job and the streaming services and rokfin content creators need access to information for their livelihood. Its not their fault, its what the market demands.

Wrestling doesn't really have journalist in the traditional sense. They have content creators. When was the last time a story came out that the subject of the story didn't bless? Even when stories do come out, the "wrestling media" will often make comments like, I heard about this previously or I got a text saying something similar but didn't want to say anything or it wasn't my news to share, etc... There probably isn't a market ($$) for a reporter and information would probably dry up quickly if stuff was actually reported when its first learned about. I don't have an issue with this but the confusion between what is wrestling media/journalist and a content creator seems to be really bothering people that want the sport to be covered like basketball and football.

If CStar has been removed from NWLC this quickly after the article came out, I think it points to there being substance behind article. I doubt Cael would remove the only 5x Champ in NCAA history only a few months after accomplishing that feet if this was a nothing burger.

I wouldn't mind him going to a Rutgers or Pitt type school that will bring more attention than the traditional power. If he is really taking PSU, OSU off his list, then the NIL hit will be pretty big regardless, imo. I think there is a large gap in the NIL budget for the those 3 and everyone else. Maybe Oh St is up there but they haven't been in the conversation for some reason.
