  1. Fair lol. You win ha. I do believe it will get more and more cpu driven vs human driven over time though. Time will tell
  2. Wonder if anyone with actual human psychology experience would weigh in. (I have zero… other than one psych class a 20 years ago in college). I feel like refs that have the backup of replay just make the easier call then go to the film to review. Knowing they have that causes so many more reviews than necessary. Tempo in wrestling is so much more important than like the nfl or mlb to me. It’s a noticeably different product.
  3. You’re not wrong. Soccer in Europe has offsides called by computer now. Maybe even in the World Cup I think. for the record I prefer pure human refs without challenge bricks or anything else.
  4. I would wager. One day AI will be helping or fully officiating sporting events. Adding tracking devices to the athletes equipment or a ball to track where they are etc….. right around the corner.
  5. Most gamblers pay their debts.
  6. That’s all bs. This trend started recently (4-5 years ago) and it was started by Cael. #growtheaport if you look at intermat rankings. Check out the top 8 or so in each weight. Count the # of bouts and Sort that. Of the bottom 15 or so competitors psu dominates the bottom of the list. No other team has more than one. Most of the ones down there have well known injury issues (Gomez mekhi). The average of this list is 13 and change. 100% of psu is below the avg. 3 4 5 6 6 psu 174 7 psu 149 7 7 7 psu hwt 8 8 psu 184 8 psu 197 9 psu 157 10 10 psu 133 10 10 10 11 11 12 12 psu 125 12 12 psu 141 12 12 13 13 13 psu 165 13 13 13 14
  7. Psu not competing is like 70% of all active topics at the moment. Not competing is the new they gotta call stalling lol.
  8. Makes sense. No worries. Thanks for the reply. I will keep quiet about what I’m working on until it works better
  9. That site is awesome. Any reason why the format of the PDFs changes from time to time? I work for a software company and I am going to try to put some AI on top of those PDFs…. If it works well we can get a ton of cool stuff out of it.
  10. I dunno of many teams other than psu that can’t find a way to get 8 matches in. They are 73 days into the season. A match every 9 days isn’t a lot. CStar is almost at a match every 12.1 days. We are 45 days until the post season. 61% of the season is gone. #growthesportcarl
  11. Not sure how it compares. But doesn’t purler have like 31 people on d1 rosters?
  12. They are. They get better over time. You need like 8 or 10 matches to qualify no? Remember last year a coach or two forgot to send theirs in and they were whacked the first few times as well.
  13. Did psu wrestle the required amount of matches to be included?
  14. Meanwhile Peyton Robb out there battling after almost dying last year. 16, 12, 11, 15, 7, 11, 6, 16, 6, and 6. what are these numbers ? All of the #1 ranked wrestlers according to internet. Who does the 7,6, And 6 Belong to? Not a good way to grow the sport that’s what it looks like.
  15. When other teams do it it’s bad for the sport. It’s not what the fans want. Duals and big matchups matter. Grow the sport. Start 50 threads about ducking. Etc. when psu does it. Meh. Y’all have some double standards.
  16. By not wrestling high end competition? bla bla grow the sport and the like?
  17. Actually. Why did brooks or cstar not go in this exchange? Let me know please.
  18. Put me up there. They did duck
  19. I mean brooks ducked beard And c stall ducked Shane today too…… so it goes a few ways no ?
  20. Maybe it’s a fringe crap / cultish product? any publicity is good for them no? what was AJs major at okst? Does he have any skills outside of combat sports and/or being a creep?
  21. I don’t think you will see post season strategy until the post season. I wonder if stats back this up but I bet $1 that there is more aggregate riding time per match at conference and NCAA vs the regular season. I mean if it’s true that a good ride tires out your opponent. At NCAAs why would they not try to put a tough ride on. Now stalling rules may impact this I.e…. If they call stalling on top more aggressively you may see a ride till a stall then let them up. Or you may see refs put their whistle in their pocket and allow more of it. imo refs call stalling more early season every year anyway….. and tend to not in the post season.
  22. I’m in sales. I can’t stand those obvious cringy sales pitches for junk. And imo we will be getting more of this from more wrestlers as NIL matures.
  23. I don’t know the right buzz word. Cheese? Cringe? Gym Tan Laundry? I was also expecting worse for some reason. Which says something.
