There is a post on twitter showing the buffalo coach yelling something as brands and Assad walk by after Assad beat the buffalo kid. Brands seemed to just walk by / around him not answering. If I come across it again I’ll post here

The freestyle rules crowd are actively trying to kill folk style. By far the most popular domestic style. Attendance figures should be posted at events like NCAAs vs WTTs. It’s like an insurrection or something. Folk style was fine…. Leave the rules alone.

Great point. In college I never had the pleasure of the 1 hour weigh in. I was always 24. And the cut still sucked.

I’m sure a few hours helps. But I’m super skeptical that an extra few hours after a brutal weight cut “really” helps. The body doesn’t recover that quickly IMO.
