She wasn’t fighting or involved in anything dangerous….. she was just a child who sadly got caught in a situation where people were fighting. Her father, Anwar al-Awlaki, was an adult who was involved in dangerous activities and was seen as a threat by Obama’s. Because of this, he was specifically targeted and killed by a drone strike. So, the big difference is that Nora was an innocent child who died during a fight, while her father was someone Obama was trying (without a trial) to stop because he made a unilateral decision and believed he was dangerous.

This is a sport with a fanbase that normalizes doing 8th grade twice and saying that is common : ok for athletic “growth” or “awesome-sauce”. academics is often not the first priority of this particular fan base.
