The BEST example of being proactive as of recent late is what we’re doing to prevent drugs from entering our nation. Here in Pennsylvania there is a place known as Kensington - the epicenter of the opioid crisis. Take a look at what ls happening to your fellow Americans because of open borders - if you can stomach the videos. The $$$ we’re spending on Iran should be used to complete the job here.

It should have been USA protocol from the start - any place OUTSIDE the USA we spend American blood and American tax paying money to help protect results in immediate reimbursement CONTRACTUALLY for the cost of doing so. Don’t want to pay? EF YOU, you’re on your own and we’re outta there.

I agree I’m sick of hearing it from both sides however, history IS important for just about any controversial subject matter so we don’t make the same mistake again. This issue has been used time and time again to divide which is why I try and steer clear of it. Lets face it the thread was created to cause division just like media who uses it to divide divide divide. It appears the poster just like the destructive media accomplished its goal.

ha, far from it. I retired early from a successful career and now I enjoy giving back. I have no issue with RV. He takes no crap and gives it right back. I also don’t thinks he’s this way among friends and family. Do I agree with him, no way. However as a fellow rock hound I am fascinated that he chose geology as a career!

yea this is a subject I just won’t debate. My career before I retired involved selling to the pharmaceutical industry and I spent alot of time calling on accounts in the 5 boroughs. Most reps were afraid to go into certain areas but I was not. This is where I learned first hand the vast disparities between different groups of people. I also got to know alot of different people - individuals I only really encountered as a young wrestler back then on LI. Most of us have a 400 year jump start while others are still trying to catch up. Fact: Those today those 70 years or older actually lived during segregation (Jim Crow says). Think about that.

Some of you don’t know your history. Look up what was done to black families during slavery. America was in the business of separating families - it’s well known and documented. It was illegal for blacks to get married before the late 1800’s because they were considered property by their masters.

nah it’s more than that man, and you know it. I truly despised the left at one point in my life and consider myself well versed in politics. Besides health concerns, I got involved in things on a volunteer basis like cleaning up the environment and animal welfare / rights campaigns. 90+% of the individuals I interact with are on the left and that’s typically consistent with similar organizations I’m involved with. These individuals act the part and look the part, yet I don’t let that get in the way of the goal. We share these commonalities and so in essence we’re on the same team in this area of volunteerism. Perhaps you can find some common ground with those you so vehemently disagree with while keeping a distance when it comes to making friends with them. It will have a healing effect, mark my word. Not being naive and you shouldn’t either. The left truly hates conservatives and I know this with every ounce of my being which is why I’ll always be at an arms length with these people. Someone you trust who also cares about you needs to step in to convince you this shit is a complete waste of freaken time.

Ever hear of the “mirror principle”? What about “we become what we hate”? Your obsession with posting article after article to substantiate many of your threads is clearly consuming much of your mental energy. I just hope you don’t become the very thing you’re so obsessed with. Reaching that level of hatred is really tough to kick once it anchors itself to you.
