  1. As of Thursday morning the total raised (so far) is now up to nearly $85,000 ($68 shy of that).
  2. As of Saturday morning at about 8 a.m. the total raised so far is now up to $67,110 with the goal being $100,000. So they are two-thirds of the way to their goal.
  3. Updated total is now up to $43,855 with 340 donors. That's a rough average of $130 per donor. And the goal is $100,000. So they have increased the total by more than $10k just in the last few hours.
  4. So far the average donation is $117.28 with 284 donors contributing $33,308 (it went up since I made my donation).
  5. That's awful. I will contribute $100 to the cause. Feel free to outdo me as $100 is as much as I can manage as I'm a Senior Citizen on a fixed income. After I donated my $100 (and a 10% tip for the GoFundMe company) the total raised so far is $33,158. Judging by the graph on the page it appears that they are somewhere between 25 and 33% of their goal right now.
  6. Terrell Barraclough comes to mind. And there's a guy ranked (by WS) ahead of Cannon at 141 lbs - that being Isaiah Powe. And there's Nitzel at 285 lbs (formerly of Missouri). But overall the transfer portal this year is pretty abysmal.
  7. Belton has been at 141 lbs for the last THREE seasons.
  8. Pretty much what I was thinking as well.
  9. He wrestled his former teammate at ASU in the championship match (Jesse Vasquez). It was a close match most of the way but Vasquez won it and to say that Belton's action were classless, at and after the end of the match, would be an understatement. He embarrassed himself and his team. There is clearly "bad blood" between the two of them. They've wrestled competitively twice (that I know of) and Vasquez has won both matches. Here's a link to the video of the match: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki-KQGdqU_Q
  10. If he is in fact - again - in the transfer portal - which appears to be the case - you have to wonder where he ends up. But after his disgraceful antics in the championship match at the PAC 12 tournament this year I have to wonder who would be interested. It also leaves Oregon State S.O.L. at 141 lbs.
  11. My revised Arizona State lineup for 2024-2025 (rankings from WrestleStat) 125 - # 1 ranked Richard Figueroa - RS Junior (15-5 last season) - 2024 NCAA champion @ 125 lbs 133 - # 16 ranked Juian Chlebove - 6th year Senior (19-10 last season) 141 - # 7 ranked Emilio Ysaguirre - RS Sophomore (0-0) OR # 10 ranked Jesse Vasquez - RS Senior (11-4) 149 - # 10 ranked (@ 141) Jesse Vasquez - RS Senior (11-4) OR # 7 ranked (@ 141) Emilio Ysaguirre - RS Sophomore (0-0) 157 - # 74 ranked (@ 149) Kaleb Larkin - RS Freshman (2-0) OR # 76 ranked Mykey Ramos - RS Junior (7-3) 165 - # 3 ranked Jacori Teemer - 7th year Senior (25-4) - 2024 NCAA runner-up @ 157 lbs 174 - # 18 ranked Nicco Ruiz - RS Freshman (8-2) 184 - # 45 ranked Cael Valencia - RS Junior (11-14) 197 - # 134 ranked Jacob Meissner - RS Sophomore (3-15) OR perhaps someone from the transfer portal 285 - # 5 ranked Cohlton Schultz - 6th year Senior (12-4)
  12. I think where Parco ends up will be decided by ONE factor and ONE factor only- that being where he will get the best N.I.L. deal. So assuming that deal will come from Oklahoma State is premature at best. I saw yesterday where a group of 5 basketball player signed to play for U.S.C. with a N.I.L. deal worth $500,000.
  13. Just the last one.
  14. The only rumblings I pay attention to are earthquakes and my stomach.
  15. With Teemer - apparently - moving up to 165 lbs I would think that Larkin or Ramos would be moving up to 157 lbs. My money would be on Ramos moving up. That would give ASU the following lineup: 125 - Figueroa 133 - Chlebove 141 - Vasquez OR Ysaguirre 149 - Larkin OR Ramos 157 - Larkin OR Ramos 165 - Teemer 174 - Ruiz 184 - Valencia 197 - Meissner OR Addison 285 - Schultz
  16. 141: Emilio Ysaguirre, Arizona State 165: Luka Wick, Cal Poly
  17. All very good points. My money would be on Ysaguirre starting at 141 lbs next season for ASU.

  19. The answer to your first question is yes but as has already been mentioned it is complicated and it depends on how long you have been in the academy. Since Hendrickson has been in for four years I would think he would be eligible to transfer elsewhere but as has also already been mentioned he is done with college wrestling. He will likely graduate from the Air Force academy and serve in the Air Force.
  20. Your title here is simply false. The four remaining PAC 12 wrestling programs - as Ken Chertow said in his introductory statement at the 2024 PAC 12 tournament - will return as the PAC 12 wrestling programs for the next two years. That being Oregon State, Little Rock, Cal Poly and Cal State Bakersfield. They are allowed to operate with less than six schools for that two year period. The two remaining actual PAC 12 schools, i.e., Oregon State and Washington State have worked out the details (for the most part) of a merger with the Mountain West and will retain the PAC 12 name. The Mountain West has two wrestling schools in Air Force and Wyoming. A merger of the two conferences would mean a PAC 12 Conference with six wrestling programs, i.e., the minimum number needed for NCAA tournament allocations. That being of course Oregon State, Little Rock, Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, Air Force and Wyoming. Other options would be inviting schools such as Cal Baptist, Utah Valley and Northern Colorado to join as well.
  21. Given the fact that Keckeisen and Aaron Brooks are very close I would be surprised if Penn State doesn't (at the very least) try to get Keckeisen as a transfer to Penn State for next season. Keckeisen will be in the same position (next season) as Bernie Truax was last season, i.e., a sixth (and last) season for 2025. Keckeisen has been at UNI for five years so he must be a graduate and can transfer if he wants to do so.
  22. After the first two rounds the PAC 12 teams that are competing are now: Arizona State is 11-6 - Figueroa (125), Parco (149), Teemer (157) and Cohlton (285) are all still in the championship bracket Cal Poly is 4-6 - Chance Lamer at 149 lbs is the only Mustang wrestler still in the championship bracket. Lamer's next opponent is Arizona State's Kyle Parco and Parco is 6-0 in college vs. Lamer. Little Rock is 5-5 - Nasir Bailey at 133 lbs is the only Little Rock wrestler who is still in the championship bracket Oregon State is 4-6 - Munoz at 184 lbs is the only Beaver wrestler who is still in the championship bracket Stanford is 6-4 - Cardenas at 157 lbs is the only Cardinal wrestler who is still in the championship bracket
  23. Arizona State went 7-2 with the two losses via Cael Valencia's 2nd match vs. the # 1 seed at 174 lbs and Negron's loss at 184 lbs. Wins came from Richard Figueroa at 125, and upset win by Julian Chlebove at 133, Jesse Vasquez at 141, Kyle Parco at 149, Jacori Teemer at 157, Cael Valencia's win in the Pig-Tail round, and Cohlton Schultz' win at 285 lbs. Cal Poly went 2-3 with the two wins coming from Chance Lamer at 149 and Adam Kemp at 174. Little Rock also went 2-3 with the two wins coming from true Freshman Nasir Bailey at 133 and Stephen Little at 197. Oregon State went 1-4 with the one win coming from Trey Munoz at 184 lbs. Stanford went 5-0 with wins coming from Nicco Provo at 125, Jaden Abas' upset win over Tyler Kasak at 149, Daniel Cardenas at 157, Hunter Gavin beating Little Rock's Joey Bianchi at 165 and Nikolas Stemmet at 197.
  24. What stood out to me was all of the coaches and assistants and all of the male support people ALL wore suits & ties, i.e., they dressed formally. As opposed to how people dress casually even slovenly today.
