  1. Not only that, but he's also comparable to DT...
  2. With experience comes wisdom...
  3. DT was fine. I can't imagine many folks, "newer to the sport" were tuned in to FLO. But your point is taken...
  4. I wasn't comparing him to Pyles. I wouldn't do that to DT. My point stands...
  5. I didn't want to put that on him yet... My original comment read, "Shumate may never have a place with the Buckeyes."
  6. He was fine. He is though, very verbose. The action on the mat can speak for itself at times...
  7. I was surprised to see him at 84 last weekend. I really believed it would be a bit longer, which encourages me that he is on the quest he set out for. Shumate may not have a place with the Buckeyes until next season if Hoffman is able to hold it down and get it done...
  8. Wrestlestat as of 11/22/23 184 at CK - #1 Keck, #2 Foca, #3 Munoz, #5 Feldkamp, #6 Plott, #8 Pinto, #9 Key, #12 Hoffman, #16 Fisher, #18 Kane, #20 Berge, #22 Fishback and others...
  9. He doesn't work. He grills, drinks and does wrestling. If he breaks from that it's only to get meat, liquor and hang out with the grandbabes.
  10. CKLV December 1st-2nd The season really begins here for the Buckeyes. The best tourney outside of NCAA. A bunch of the countries best college wrestlers. 11. Per usual, Very diplomatic of you...
  12. None of us are confused brother. You're getting your chain jerked and it's not a good look...
  13. He's only like mid forties, so what's that give him? Maybe twenty years of following? He's the authority in the last fifteen years or so. No slight to Willie, but there are a bunch of old timers around here...
  14. Wrestled with Alan on an All Star team back in the day. He's one of my all time Ohio best. Generational indeed. Phillips won IM as a true freshman at 71. Had one HS loss to Ruth. I've always thought he avenged the loss, but I've never found it.
  15. I agree. I just wasn't certain if anyone wanted to go back to '88.'
  16. Nope. And that pushes out Sandoval.
  17. Looked pretty good doing it too.
