I'll never understand the mentality of some on here...thinking Musk isn't a smart successful guy...like under what sort of qualifications are you freaking using dude?!?! It would be absolutely hilarious if RL or RV ever had the chance to sit down with Musk and speak to the guy and truly understand what he has accomplished in his life comparable to them. Would love for them to compare the charitable contribution and charitable actions he has taken compared to them, even normalizing it out over salaries for each party. It probably is because they are so intellectually weak that they can't separate the dislike for someone's personality with whether they are smart and successful....Musk is a weird dude...but he is also extremely brilliant and successful...and that would hold true no matter what side of the isle he supported.

Again I'll bite...what fraud/waste that is being uncovered do you believe SHOULDN'T be cut?? And why?

Totally fair take...and to be honest, I wasn't a fan of his nomination either and said so at the time. But I am also a let's wait and see if he can in fact do the job versus just blatantly saying someone is unqualified because of who nominated the person when in all honestly, none of us on here really know the true qualifications of every appointment ever made on either side of the isle. And if Trip would have stopped at the OP I wouldn't have said anything, but he didn't of course, and it divulged into nonsense.

I'll bite...there definitely could be a discussion/argument made on HOW the "firings" have occurred, but do know WHO the people were that were let go??? My guess is no since it is way easier for you to consistently be intellectually lazy and just throw out emotional statements without understanding the whole and true picture of what is happening.

I have no idea if Hegseth addressed it and quite frankly, I don't care since he shouldn't have to make a comment every time he drinks water/soda/juice/etc. I will admit I shouldn't have said alcohol...I should have based my comment around him saying the "brown liquid" was alcohol. The overall point is it was a stupid thread to begin with. Do we now assume someone that has a history drinking alcohol (I have seen no clear evidence that he is in fact an alcoholic), everything they drink is alcohol?? Not to mention people believe that alcoholic's only drink alcohol? Again, doesn't this all sound completely ridiculous?? Or does this sound more logical...if he is truly an alcoholic, he more than likely will not be able to do his job based on piss poor performance, and thus should be fired. Versus every time the guy is seen drinking something there is a news story about it, threads are started, and he should be expected to address what in fact he was drinking???

Absolutely...hypocrisy happens on both sides....I believe I have called that out plenty of times...however for this specific instance, maybe our definitions of over-reactions are different. I believe the R's will make a big deal about it; however, I don't believe they will hold press conferences screaming that Rep. Garcia is going to bring weapons to congressional meetings (like the D's have in the past)...rather discuss appropriate language use and ask for Rep. Garcia to recant what he said and to make a statement about violence is never the answer.

It is absolutely mind boggling! You can't retire because the process takes to long...WTF?!?! It is sort of like the DMV...they have taken a couple steps to modernize and streamline the processes, but they are still so archaic and rely on paper.

I know it is hard for you and others to understand...but people have different opinions on things, people value different things in life, there isn't a one shoe fits all approach to anything....and also guess what...you know absolutely nothing of Musk's intentions or what his 50-100 steps ahead are...so get over yourself!
