  1. Since I've spent a decent time recently manually entering and then analyzing the results of every 125 match so far this year, I can tell you that Greg Diakomihalis - from a performance perspective - is certainly capable of being a starter, a national qualifier, and win a couple matches at nationals. It just so happens he is on one of a handful of teams that has quality depth at the weight class. Others notables being Penn (Gallagher and Miller), NC State (Camacho and Trombley)

  3. So if Vito and Cornella are out - ill go with this as a prediction: 125: Ungar dec Trombley 3-0 (after which, Camacho will get the starting nod) 133: Kai Orine fall Ethan Qereshi 3-6 141: Ryan Jack major Josh Saunders 3-10 149: Jackson Arrington dec Ethan Fernandez (I think this could easily become a major) 3-13 157: Meyer Shapiro dec Ed Scott 6-13 165: Julian Ramirez dec Derek Fields 9-13 174: Alex Faison dec Benny Baker 9-16 184: Fishback dec Foca 9-19 197: Hidlay dec Cardenas 9-22 285: Fernandes dec Trephan 12-22, Wolfpack
  4. I think then you'd also have 174 which should be Baker vs Faison - with Faison as a favorite
  5. Wonder who goes out at 125 - Trombley or Camacho?
  6. People who I know from outside of wrestling (which is like 99% of people I know) are very normal and don't have as much tragedy or success as wrestlers I know.
  7. I guess its just me then. Truly it seem to be very polarized - with many having great life success and also a higher number than expected facing death by accidental causes, drug overdoses, etc.
  8. Not when he hears he made the staff of the All-Italian team
  9. 125 will be a good match anyway
  10. While we're talking about awkward Italian moments, I present you with the following:
  11. Unusually bad headache is a key sign. For us it was the furnace in the basement that had the ventilation tube blocked and my room was the next obvious place for the gas to escape. Our family doctor eventually diagnosed it and asked us to check the carbon monoxide again. We used a new detector and it went off sure enough.
  12. I'm with Jensen although I also call off work is Presbyterian has a dual vs Davidson
  13. Is it just me or do we have more than our fair share of personal tragedies in our sport? Some of the most tragic stories im aware of are in the wrestling world. Is this just in my imagination or Is there any possible explanation for the causation/correlation?
  14. On the other hand, the best I ever wrestled was when I had been counted out by everyone because of injury. And that was my most impressive wrestling I've ever done. I had to relearn how to walk after a nearly fatal car crash and was in a wheel chair in November and won the league conferences in February and placed 7th in states. They even put me on a TV special on the local news for the comeback element (my wrestling on its own was never that level of noteworthy)
  15. If my parents had more legal savvy, I'm sure there was a lawsuit to be had. That was never my parents style though and they often bemoan those that would engage in petty lawsuits. I'd argue this one was not petty lol
  16. when I wrestled significantly worse than my usual self - there would typically be a reason -- wrestling through injury, mismanaged the the weight cut. I ended up wrestling the first half of my sophomore year with carbon monoxide poisoning on a daily basis in just a moderate amount that built up and caused me all sorts of problems. I even had a detector but it was a dud.
  17. I made a big pot of pinto beans yesterday
  18. I'm definitely putting my reputation on the line to bet on Pinto
  19. That was an impressive beating by Barraclaugh from top on a significantly larger dude and former AA in Turley
  20. Shawver is a hound dog
  21. Let's go Shawver!
  22. If you hold alt key while then pressing 0174 on your key pad on the right, you can generate the R as well
