  1. No clue, but he was a heavyweight/215 in high school. He's wide as hell but also short, so its an unconventional build.
  2. we need a 220 lb weight class... we can move the middle weights around to match freestyle weights basically.
  3. I have to wonder if its the cut
  4. TK Davis (redshirt freshman from Gardner-Webb) takes down Dylan Shawver 11-6
  5. The ref had a choice, but he made the wrong one. The Easton wrestler did not slam it to the floor or throw it into the crowd. It's clearly outlined below.
  6. I appreciate having a diverse set of perspectives here. I just thought it was clear to me that based on both spirit and letter, that the referee made the wrong call to me. Ultimately, I suppose that each of our own opinions are less relevant than the collective. I don't have an accurate way to gauge that consensus, but if twitter reactions or reactions on this board are any indication, it would seem to be in favor of the wrestler from Easton.
  7. Wow to me I can't even begin to understand your point of view honestly. I approach the world in a much different way. No disrespect to you intended. I just deeply disagree and tend to spend a lot of my energy in this world fighting against the letter of the law mentality (in favor of spirit of the law) for the improvement of the communities of which I am a member
  8. Scoreless first period brings us to a major headlock in the second by Belton. Witcraft bridges and fights hard to avoid being pinned. In the third period, Witcraft gets a headlock and his own and he sticks him! Pin by Witcraft over Belton after he was trailing 8-2
  9. major for Spratley over Lorenzo to kick us off. 4-0 OKST
  10. Starting at 125
  11. So no Feldman either it seems. Unles they are all injured, I'm trying to understand the rationale here
  12. I have ESPN+ but it asks me for my basic cable login to watch it. thanks for the update
  13. I don't have regular cable and was sad to miss out. I guess I'm not missing much? did it start at 125?
  14. And since we are a nation of rules - the referee needs to be held accountable. We need qualitative judgments here - not a quantifiable tick box to check. Anyone who qualitatively thinks that was a throw is utilizing highly suspicious judgment.
  15. Referees assume both a power (very little) and a responsibility (quite a bit more). For that they deserve respect as a profession. But when we witness the abuse of that little bit of power in an egregious fashion, it is not a sign of disrespect to call out. Rather, it is an attempt to hold accountable.
  16. I would predict O'Toole by a hair
  17. It was always exciting to watch him wrestle. I empathize very much with his heartfelt goodbye. Hope the best for the young man.
  18. Pitzer is one of those guys like Vince Cornella that just chose his college based on his own last name. It's an interesting strategy.
  19. It's a factor but not the major factor which is what I said. So your example above is a strawmen. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't understand my post. But you can re-read and get another chance.
  20. okay that makes way more sense if you're using butter. I think I might prefer the way you're saying. But without butter, the frosting is nice for just a little bit of something that's not completely dried out
  21. If you're going butter does that mean no frosting? Or you butter the other side?
  22. Thursday night action (unfortunately untelevised) with Dyson Dunham of VMI taking down Chad Bellis of App State 7-3. Bellis is ranked 39th by wrestlestat and has a win over Brett Ungar this year while Dunham is ranked 107th and his previous best win was Logan Heil (112th on WS).
  23. The opposing kid also had his headgear off when they were shaking hands! It's hard to do it any more gently than the Easton kid dropped his on the ground. Where was the other point?
