  1. Absolutely. The level of adrenaline and fight or flight flowing through a wrestler directly after a match - is likely to be a similar impact to their inhibitions as having a couple of stiff drinks. I don't hold it against Brooks in the same way that I would if he made those claims outside of the context of a post-match interview in which he had the opportunity to collect and formulate his thoughts.
  2. Will Lewan is a bit like Rudy Gobert
  3. TJ Stewart is amazing. I publicly doubted him and barely survived to tell the tale
  4. I would love to hear a mix tape (I know - it's not a thing anymore) with a representative song selected by each D1 coach.
  5. Since Maida missed it so did Molton. Sucks how it works when your schedule is weak
  6. You're right. I had it the wrong way around.
  7. 1. Keegan O'Toole 2. Mitchell Mesenbrink 3. David Carr 4. Dean Hamiti 5. Julian Ramirez
  8. What an incredible match. Score of 8-2 doesn't tell the story. This was a fierce battle with extremely high level wrestling
  9. This is it! Probably the most anticipated match of all conference finals
  10. Had to laugh at Downey's candor in his post match interview "wish I had known the overtime rules better than I did - or else I wouldn't have picked top"
  11. Ty Watters is electric - get ready folks
  12. Daton Fix and Anthony Echemendia both saying "all glory to God". Honestly even if you're not religious - couldn't you view it as something similar to "this goes bigger than just me and my efforts - I'm grateful for all of the things that had to go in my favor to help make this possible". If you view it as that sort of atheist translation, we can all move on and view it as a nice sentiment which is uncontroversial.
  13. Echemendia and Mendez would be a hell of a title match
  14. Jackson Arrington with the clutch takedown over Caleb Henson to win his first ACC title
  15. Why does Robie have a black eye?
  16. I was never a fan of his style, but I learned to appreciate him and very much respect him over the years.
  17. Seems likely that Michael Joyce is the 33rd seed and Tristan Lujan the 32nd
  18. That's the other thing. For me, I'd hold it against him - but for others, they may not. Davis still should be the betting favorite to be the one seed I'd think
  19. Volk is great. Also lol at the announcer saying "this was not the blood round, but this was a round with blood..."
  20. Davis giving up bonus to Caleb Smith was a noteworthy consideration that I consider worth of bringing to the table. I think Davis is the more likely number one, but concede an argument to be made for Stanich
  21. I'll buy it from you. And yes - there are specific people I would like for you to kill. I'm return, I'll do whatever it takes to sabotage Purdues opponents
  22. Stanich could also make an argument, but Davis should be 2 at worst
  23. Winner of Big Ten in this years 125 was always going to be the most likely 1 seed
  24. Edmund was first to Illinois and Ed shortly thereafter. The timing was so close to make you wonder if the conversations were being had as a packaged deal
