the saying "call a spade a spade" goes back to ancient Greece apparently. wonder if its the oldest saying we still use -
had no clue he was born in Belarus. I went there once by accident, but was deported after they held me in the train station detainment cell.

I find it interesting that the wrestling community seems to be largely independent-minded and fiscally conservative in such a way to discourage the philosophy of relying on handouts. In the case of college wrestling, the sport doesn't turn a profit in any school (as far as I am aware) and so in spite of believing the former, we require donations from others (either individual donors or profit from other sports at the same college covering our tab) just for the right to exist.

Gabe Hixenbaugh wrestled four years at Campbell with one of them as a starter. This past weekend, he won the Division II title for Montvale and was the first national champion for Montvale in any sport. At the same time that NC State had Jakob Camacho, Jarrett Trombley, Stevo Poulin and Anthony Noto, they also had James Joplin - who has similarly found success at DII Lander with 3rd and 4th place finishes the last two seasons.

My understanding is that dwarves have normal people sized heads but small bodies. Midgets have a proportionately small body overall.

As for me, I was always the shortest in my class growing up until I hit a growth spurt sophomore year of high school and ended up just shy of average.

Hard to say. I know they had a quite lofty goal, and there is a page where you can donate, but it is not as easy to see how much fundraising progress has been made. I might have just missed something obvious on the site. https://www.tsuwrestling.org/

Haha thank you. Once i realized we were starting the draft while on the plane, I grabbed the vomit bag from the back of the seat (unused of course) to jot down 12 or so guys from each weight that would be at the top to serve as my draft board. As I saw picks in this thread I would cross them out. Not very sophisticated and I was with my two small children on the flight. Still feel okay about my team
