  1. Does Alan Fried count since his school was sanctioned in 93? He is otherwise three for three
  2. What does it mean to be dismissed as it pertains to the already closed transfer portal? That he can transfer this year but wouldn't be eligible to wrestle until next year? Any thoughts?
  3. Sorry - mental hiccup. This is fun though
  4. got it so those with only three years of eligibility dont count I take it?

  7. I think JTTS was before my time but WKN has been the board MVP during my tenure
  8. Yahya Thomas 2021? 1st Round: defeated 8th ranked Jaden Abas 2nd Round: defeated 9th ranked Legend Lamer (which doen't count for this exercise, but I would give him extra credit) Backside: defeated Abas again, then Brock Mauller (3), then Boo Lewallen (4)
  9. I know Tate has some bizarre world views, but any reason to believe he's bluffing here
  10. That's amazing
  11. He has been making a running joke about the Fix family garage refrigerator for as long as I have known him, so it would seem to me as if he is cynical and trying to find the humor in an unsavory situation.
  12. The star and crescent were originally a Byzantine symbol and thought that the star may have actually been the planet Venus. In any event, Islam did not utilize this symbol until after Turkey did. So it's more of a Turkish symbol than Islamic symbol at it's heart. Even though many other countries adopted this afterwards.
  13. I would have just stated that 2020 didn't count for eligibility since there was no post season and simultaneously reinforced that four years of post season eligibility is what matters
  14. apparently their RTC is having their sign-in sheet investigated to make sure that certain visiting policies were not violated
  15. I say this as a person whose family has ties to the Catholic Church. Of course we have seen what what down there. Separately, as a supporter of other sports like basketball, baseball, and football, I have seen the types of crimes the athletes are being convicted of there: and its not pretty. And thats only whats reported. Lots of domestic violence. My anecdotal observations lead me to believe that power dynamics warp a person's sense of right and wrong - and it hasn't been contained to one aspect of life. Maybe I'm cynical, but I see it everywhere. That's not to say wrestling doesn't have our own culture and ways that we get it wrong. But at least from where I'm sitting, the wrestling world is not a whole lot more egregious than other similar communities.
  16. Do you think its a wrestling-specific problem? Or a problem that exists in power dynamics everywhere. It's a genuine question.
  17. Good news for Little Rock
  18. https://www.instagram.com/p/DLTFbimS-iu/ Cannon Acklin from Iowa State to Central Oklahoma Separately, Brady Benham from Iowa to Central Oklahoma
  19. I don't know the realities of the situation but surely it is not hard to understand that someone could be generous with their money while simultaneously being legally cautious
  20. Nathan Carnes from Presbyterian to Belmont Abbey
