  1. Hayden Hastings wins 4-3 over Runyon's backup. Hastings did a lot of stalling in the third which was met with a round of boos from the Panther crowd.
  2. Lance Runyon heard quacking from the locker room after an apparent feather and beak injury
  3. Yant wins 4-1 with riding time. 21-0 Panthers after six matches
  4. Yant up 3-0 and riding Moody like a wet blanket in the second
  5. 18-0 Northern Iowa over Wyoming at the break
  6. While Holschlag was up 4-3 with eight seconds left, the crowd got quiet enough for a moment and all you could hear was a guy yelling "Finish Him" in the Mortal Kombat style
  7. You're thinking of either Cave Beast of Slog Monster
  8. Bleak outlook for the cowboys who lost the only match they were favored (157) with half the dual remaining and zero team points scored.
  9. Holschlag in a double with 46 seconds left, but gets his head pushed inside. Long battle before he eventually secures the takedown and narrow victory.
  10. Scoreless first period. Holschlag starts second on bottom after thirty seconds of earned riding time by Wright. On their feet and Wright in on the legs for a takedown. Immediate escape and it's 2-2 going into the third with Wright starting on bottom.
  11. Thinking a big more about my proposal, I'm not sure how helpful it would be. If someone knows they don't need to wrestle afterward, they can cut weight much more aggressively without worrying about short term performance impact. It could fuel a bigger problem potentially.
  12. Zollman with a late escape to avoid the major. 10-3 decision for Realbuto. 157 we have Soldier Solute champion Jacob Wright vs UNI's Derek Holslchag
  13. Greenwood, obviously the superior mat wrestler, but less confident on his feet, rode Happel for the entirety of the third period to earn a riding point in addition to his three escapes. 6-4 match but wasn't that close. Realbuto is currently working on a major decision over Zollman
  14. That would be terrifying (those things are enormous). As a follow-up comment, I knew a kid in college whose nickname was Moosebiscuit
  15. I agree with you and I'm sure my idea has other flaws, but that is why I said X number of weigh-ins instead of X number of matches. This enables even injured guys to comply without risk.
  16. currently streaming on FLO 125: Golhoffer slides by with a decision by narrow margin (5-3) 133: Biscoglia first period pin over Stacey 141: Score is only 6-3 in favor of Happel, which doesn't tell the whole story of a match in which he has three takedowns vs Greenwood's three escapes
  17. I'm passionate about pickling and fermentation in general. Sandwich without pickles is nothing.
  18. Obviously bad news for fans (and thus the sport) if a highly talented wrestling like Glory is significantly reducing matches for weight management. What about a solution where in order to qualify for a weight class at Nationals, you must have at least X number of successful weigh-ins at that weight. If the rule already exists now, it could be a matter of increasing the requirement.
  19. Who is John Gault?
  20. Haha as you said before, great minds. The commercial break was useful to run to the fridge and back
  21. It's 141 and he's transferring to Edinboro (Koll preemptively gave him an NPO)
  22. I'm happy that my streak of making guarantees proved to be unbeaten (in the worst possible way) But Flo did not drop the stream tonight. Imagine that! I would have lost a lot of money if we could have bet on that.
  23. insane defense by Parco
  24. I could have sworn that in my elementary league as a kid, parallel rides of all kind would be considered stalling (unless actively turning the guy)
  25. well all Parco needs to do is major Yianni
