  1. Shame this was not televised
  2. This is a very fair criticism given my location. However I only really would do one IPA at a time. Not a fan of drinking hoppy stuff. I used to drink room temp session ales at British pubs when lived there before here. Now I rotate my house beer between Coors Banquet and Bud Heavy. When I'm within the distribution territory of Yuengling, I go with those.
  3. The beer part is correct!!
  4. Back to Woods: Schriever looked better than Bennett at 141. Wonder if Iowa sticks with him as primary backup ( I would)
  5. Appreciate the defense, but I don't mind. haha@Husker_Du - I assume that was rhetorical banter, but if not: former wrestler (not good enough for you to have heard of) turned wrestling fan as adult. Got introduced to the sport because I lived walking distance from Parkland High School (Allentown, PA) when I was seven (1992) and until I was twelve and wrestled on their elementary team in VEWL. Was a very big part of my life as a kid. Didn't really get too deeply into it as a fan until the last couple of years (around 2020). Moved around a lot to places that don't appreciate wrestling which also has made it difficult to keep track. As far as living in LA, it wouldn't have been my first choice, but I've come to appreciate it (weather helps) after coming here for work.
  6. Bono signed an NPO which included the spelling of Burwikk and so was rejected due to inaccuracy. Bob's 15 minute rule was cited, but there was no forgiveness
  7. I think he could go 157 and beat Silverstein
  8. We live in a townhouse in LA and have astroturf instead of grass can't justify the water it would take to keep a healthy lawn while living in this dry climate. But having turf in the back is pretty lame. I'm not a fan
  9. I'd like to see Lehigh roll the dice on him. Otherwise, Lock Haven, Hofstra, Binghamton, Rider could all potentially work.
  10. In 2015 I saw a swan murder a Canadian goose in cold blood. Geese are also no slouch in the scrappiness department.
  11. Thomas Gilman has always been entertaining in that way but seems more tame now
  12. Wrestlestat has him in the portal at 149
  13. I know people who have also done this for reasons outside of sports. If you want to go to a certain school and it's a state school. Could be worth considering moving to the state and lower your tuition (depending on cost of moving)
  14. Victor Voinovich also did that for them. Does sound smart on the one hand. On the other hand could be less than ideal for some to have family so close by when they are supposed to becoming more independent.
  15. Not sure if you are talking about websites or individuals. Youtube has thousands of matches anyone can watch for free. Flo seems to have a very thorough archive for recent years which also includes youth wrestling (high school and even younger)
  16. If we remove the riding time point, I also wouldn't be too upset
  17. Mineo is saying that Alvarez quit the team, which makes me think he was kicked off (he bats lower than Mendoza line)
  18. I hate when stalling gets called on the guy who is glued to the mat on bottom instead of the guy on top with parallel ride
  19. We were speculating his eye popped out originally but broken nose is also no party
  20. True but last year he looked terrible anytime within an hour an a half of weigh in. As in, he will he pinned by unranked guys type bad. I get the sense he was making too large a cut. I hope whether at Rutgers or another school, he gets a chance at a more appropriate weight
  21. Indiana wins on criteria. And the brothers split.
