  1. Thanks for sharing. Great data. I would also be interested if we added another column for capacity and then some smaller schools, as a percentage of that capacity (like clarion) wouldn't appear as bad
  2. Great for both. He slides in right away as the starter at 157.
  3. Even better these boys are respectively from Nazareth and Easton
  4. 125: Spratley 133: Fix 141: Young 149: Alvarez 157: Williams 165: Olejnik 174: Plott 184: Wittlake...? 197: Surber 285: Doucet / Carroll (RS)
  5. Victor Voinovich James Rowley
  6. I don't care that much about it, but it makes for an interesting subtext when the individual story gets dry. "well sure, this match here may be lopsided, but it makes a huge difference for the team score if wrestler X can avoid a pin"
  7. You could be right - but that is a rule I'm not familiar with.
  8. Good point about Olguin unless McLane is thinking about sucking down and could beat out Crosby
  9. Conspiracy theories starting here (by me), but could it be a matter of wanting to control the program more directly through donors rather than the coach himself. In which case, they want a pawn who would be honored to have the title, instead of someone who actually has opinions.
  10. 125: DeAuggie 133: Ragusin 141: Schwartz 149: Lamer 157: Lewan 165: Griffith 174: Amine 184: Rowley 197: Rogers 285: Davison
  11. In freestyle. And it wasn't easy (Mendez toasting him like champagne in the other match) I could be wrong on this, but Bouzakis wrestles too conservative for this level. He needs to open up on offense more (though last year was a smallish sample size)
  12. Bouzakis was brutalized by Tom Crook
  13. I wondered if Michigan could be in play for Mosha Schwartz, depending on how the Oklahoma situation shakes out with their new coach.
  14. Surprising to me Mendez would redshirt this year, but maybe you're right. He's better than Bouzakis and D'Emilio, but maybe he takes one for the long term team...? I don't see how it plays out. Would D'Emilio pop up to 157 for 2024/2025 season? Bouzakis/Mendez/Voinovich/D'Emilio?
  15. At what weight? 133: Bouzakis 141: Mendez 149: D'Emilio 157: Sasso
  16. Only this precious visionary:
  17. Idaho have you heard any whispers of Chance McLane of Oklahoma State being sought after by both Oregon State and Wyoming. Apparently McLane is telling folks he beat Wyatt Sheets in the wrestleoff last year but didn't get the starting sport because of politics (and perhaps more importantly, Sheets placing higher at the Scuffle)
  18. @Voice of the Quakers @Quaker118, calling for expert advice on how to forecast Penn's lineup next year. 125: Ryan Miller, the incumbent, seemingly unlikely to be challenged for the starting spot 133: Michael Colaiocco's senior season and he seems like the obvious choice. But also worth noting that the capable Evan Mougalian is waiting in the wings 141: CJ Composto back after taking last season off and was an All-American in 2022. 149: I'm thinking Kaya Sement, but not quit sure. 157: Louis Colaiocco? 165: Revano 174: Incontrera 184: Connor Strong, Max Hale, or Cole Urbas back down? 197: Probably Martin Cosgrove or Cole Urbas 285: Matt Cruise or Martin Cosgrove thanks for your thoughts fellas
  19. To respect your privacy I don't want to pry further but as geography geek and a world traveler, I am deeply intrigued
  20. Can we guess? My first guess is Hong Kong
  21. I'm hoping we get to see Pitzer vs Feldman at some point next year. Two dynamic heavyweights that both need to put on some size
  22. As dominant as Penn State is, Iowa has a better wrestler at each of the three light weights now
