  1. Was that the cradle in the first period? I couldn't quite see his shoulder blades, but thought he would eventually be stuck
  2. Unfortunately we get Connor Gaynor instead of Berge. Salazar makes mince meat out of Gaynor for a 14-3 decision. 16-9 Gophers
  3. Okay here are my last minute predictions 125: Terukina dec Ayala 3-0 133: Teske dec Frost 3-3 141: Woods dec Echemendia 3-6 149: Swiderski dec Voinovich 6-6 157: Franek dec Chittum 6-9 165: Carr dec Caliendo 9-9 174: Kennedy dec Gaitan 9-12 184: Feldkamp dec Arnold 12-12 197: Glazier dec Broderson 12-15 285: Bastida major Hill 16-15 Cyclones
  4. DeVos with the only takedown and the win over Skillings 4-1. Team score now 12-9 in favor of Gophers. Berge vs Salazar starting now
  5. Tanner Cook opens up a quick 6 point lead, before Blaine Brenner scores eight straight plus over two minutes riding time. 9-6 for Brenner and now 12-6 for the Gophers
  6. Michael Blockhus with a very impressive comeback victory against Cael Swensen. Blockhus really turned it on late, and electrifies the crowd with a sudden victory takedown. 9-6 Gophers after five
  7. Drew Roberts looks pretty tough - good defense and selective, but effective with his own offense. Martin avoids the major decision. 8-1 Roberts. Team score locked up 6-6
  8. Vombaur pretty easily wins - 5-2 for the Golden Gopher. 6-3 Jackrabbits
  9. Jackrabbits with an unexpected 6-0 lead. Caleb Gross fills in for Clay Carlson at 141 (not sure on the reason for Carlson's absence) against Vance Vombaur up next
  10. 133: Derrick Cardinal vs Tyler Wells. Wells won by TF two weeks ago. This time around, Derrick Cardinal with a late takedown - wins 5-3 over phenom freshman Wells
  11. At 125, Tanner Jordan, avenges four previous losses to McKee with a big upset and 9-4 decision.
  12. BIG+ has Minnesota vs SDSU kicking off in five minutes. I'm excited to see Salazar vs Berge.
  13. 125, 174, and 197 seem to be almost complete tossups and could be the weights that decide the dual outcome
  14. I'm not religious but I believe your approach as described above is sensible and agreeable
  15. Iranian being an "All-American" is cool
  16. What are some of the recent changes that happened right before or after the season began: Braxton Brown: 125 to 133 Nate Higley: 149 to 141 Gavin Hoffman: 197 to 184 Chris Foca: 174 to 184 who else?
  17. I actually spent a weekend in Danbury once as a young chap - the most memorable thing was the prison and the proximity to NYC.
  18. Was Kevin Jack the start of that pipeline?
  19. @BigRedFan what does it mean for Loew if Foca is up at 184? Will Loew do some sort of greyshirt/redshirt thing where he unenrolls to preserve eligibility? Loew seems to have gone on injury RS last year - maybe he is still injured? Any ideas?
  20. Here is a photo of nhs and I protecting WKN while he calculates the most likely 7th seed to lose first round using Excel for Android. He doesn't even need to look both ways crossing the street
  21. I am also in on this pact - we got your back WKN!
  22. 12/04/2021: Hamiti pins Olejnik 12/29/2022: Hamiti dec Olejnik 6-0 3/16/2023: Hamiti dec Olejnik 7-3 11/21/2023: Olejnik dec Hamiti 8-2
  23. that's a fair point. I actually enjoyed rooting against DT as a wrestler since he was such a heavy favorite most of the time. Maybe they should get Bubba Jenkins on the mic.
  24. Informative, keeps a pretty even keel, and shares the same frustrations as me (lack of action). That's why i like him.
