  1. I used to think that until Rapinoe and the US women's soccer team totally trashed all good will that had been built up by their predecessors and betters over a couple decades. So, if a wrestler wearing our colors chooses an international stage to exercise first amendment rights (rather than expressing them by not competing for the USA) and freely expresses his/her disdain for me and this country then, like the women's soccer team, I have no time for them and will support whomever is playing/wrestling against them. Even Ruskies, Iranians, or defectors. Now, on to a less incendiary take on the point: I can root for one of the defectors as my back-up favorite until the point of a head to head matchup with the USA wrestler because I am sure that none of our wrestlers are idiot enough to stage such a protest at such a venue.
  2. First we had earthquake cooling. Then earthquake warming. Then earthquake change and earthquake crises. We simply need a global day of transquake visibility and all will be OK. If Barney the T-Rex had not driven his Hemi-engined SUV and instead used windmills to power a Tesla then Yellowstone never would have quaked then volcanoed and the world would be a better place.
  3. The cost of owning a medium valued house has doubled since 2021. Maybe this is another reason for no "atta boy" cheers. And also, maybe, why capital gains taxes have cratered. People are hoarding assets which represent real value and borrowing money which will surely be devalued soon thereby resulting in Biden's tax cut. The following article points out the consequences with respect to median housing costs vs median household income: ttps://jewishworldreview.com/0424/antoni040524.php The Fed has a target of 2% inflation. This is a core problem. 0% inflation should be the target. A unit of work today is worth the same for the rest of my life. If I spend 7 units of my work every day and save 1 unit of my work that saved work value (money) should have the same value when I want to spend it 50 years later. 2% inflation target results in my $1.00 saved at age 20 is worth $0.37 when I am 70 and need to use it. That is official government goal and policy. The actual numbers are far worse. $1.00 saved in 1974 is worth $0.16 today. We targeted 2% but achieved an average of 3.75%. How about targeting 0% and then if we miss the goal we average about 1.75%?
  4. Warp Speed was a master stroke of manipulating Trump. Power mixed with ego which simultaneously lacks principles or wisdom results in the biggest manmade disaster (COVID response, lockdowns, school closures, medical experiments perpetrated on mankind, vexxination passports, etc.) ever outside of war.
  5. Yet government got bigger, the value of our collective savings accounts decreased, we can't buy as much stuff, and our great grandchildren are burdened with the largest debt in the history of the world due to spending out of all proportion to any actual government function or valid authority to do. No "atta boy" for that. Redneck wingers, and even soccer moms, know economics better than Biden & the Swamp People and their carnival barkers shilling for them in the leftie (i.e. 90 % of all) media.
  6. The physics claims are outright fraudulent also. On both ends of the hoax - that the earth is about to cease existing and that their "solutions" are the only salvation. Remember, they are lying only to the people who want to believe them. They know that people who are numerate, logical, and have a grasp of physics principles see through the fraud. However, the mix of do-gooderism (say-gooders), mob mentality, and social pressure, and governmental force can overcome facts . . . up to the point where reality slaps the idiots in the face.
  7. Finding a vulnerable Indonesian trans sex worker just does not seem as edgy and "dirty" as it once did. I don't think global warming is the problem. I think it is more of a "ho hum, transes here, transes there, transes everywhere, so now who cares?" mentality.
  8. Because your great great grandparent once picked a banana in a forest without asking in what eventually became some latin american country you are responsible. Or it might have been Kamela Harris' or Barry O's ancestors picking produce without license and enslaving people. Whatever. Stop whining you oppressing straight, white, conservative, male. Keep paying taxes, get ready to pay reparations. Sheesh. Crybaby.
  9. Is it a hoax if you are too stupid to understand physics, facts, relative risks, basic logic, that others have different priorities, etc? If you identify that the earth is about to stop existing due to all human economic activity since Prometheus gave humans the knowledge to harness fire then it is not a hoax. It is their truth. Wrong but "true". Which is possible in their cult world. Is it any wonder that the correlation between being a climateer and the belief that men menstruate is very close to 1? WKN probably can give us the R-value.
  10. Men are better are womaning than women are, apparently. Look at all the woman of the year awards men are winning. Must be easy to be a woman if any ole man can do it.
  11. It would be great if the church of government limited itself to 10% of my toil. Working until nearly noon every day for the church of government is getting very old very fast.
  12. Illegal aliens are the ultimate squatters. And some of our colleagues on this site feel Americans deserve illegal alien squatters amongst us because of . . . you know . . . come on, man . . . the thing. So hundreds of years ago someone's grandmother looked sidelong at someone else's grandmother 3 continents away so these peeps today get to take your house. It's only fair.
  13. Research complete. And accurate. Revenue (i.e. tax dollars) went up on a real basis over 16%. Spending, NOT TAX REVENUE was, is, and always will be the problem with our deficit spending. Military spending did not go up enough to use up all of that $750 billion increase in revenue\ during the Bush years. In fact (research about to be put forth) military spending went up $180 billion from 2002 until 2008. That left $570 billion ADDITIONAL DOLLARS in 2008 above and beyond all of the federal spending in 2002 for paying off national debt. Remember that in each year the revenue increase exceeded the military budget increase therefore we had the opportunity to pay off over a trillion dollars ($1,000,000,000,000) of debt during the Bush years with the additional tax revenue received. But, no, we spent it on stupid things So if your argument is that during Bush's presidency we expanded our non-essential government spending beyond any imaginable rational purpose, reason, or need then we are in agreement. But taxes were not cut. By the way, please realize that Bush was not a conservative in thought or deed. He was mostly a country club family scion pretty boy with no real conservative governing principles but he made donors comfortable.
  14. No. Water buffalo is not a race.
  15. Taxes went up. More dollars to the treasury. No tax cut happened. You can't buy things with rates. Only dollars buy things. Dollars up therefore taxes up. Period.
  16. Wrong. 2002 (first year any Bush proposals could have been enacted as he was inaugurated Jan 2021) fed tax revenue = $1.85 trillion 2008 tax revenue = $2.52 trillion. 36.2% increasae!! Inflation over the same time was 19.7% so revenue was up 16.5% on a real-dollar basis. NO TAX CUT HAPPENED. You are misinformed.
  17. https://www.cnn.com › 2021 › 06 › 07 › business › electric-vehicles-weight › index.html Why electric cars are so much heavier than regular cars Jun 7, 2021CNN —. Batteries are heavy. That's why, generally, electric cars weigh considerably more than otherwise similar gasoline-powered vehicles. Take the GMC Hummer EV, for instance. 18. Headline in Automotive News: Why are they surprised? Are EV owners too stupid to know that EVs are heavier and therefore will wear out tires much more quickly than normal useful cars? Silly question. Of course they are too stupid to realize this. Their "science" tells them many things that are just unbelievable, demonstrably wrong, fanciful, and impossible. Their science says they can drive a car that is 30 - 50% heavier yet have no negative effects. Just wait until they learn that their car insurance will probably go up as damages and fatalities increase in events involving EVs. All the Gretas will keep asking and accusing "How dare you, Physics, impose consequences on our decisions?"
  19. Exactly. They have almost no education but quite extensive indoctrination and credentials proving they have no ability to deviate from said indoctrination.
  20. RV's assertion that the simple way to stop inflation is to take money away from people. Voila! No longer do we have too much money chasing too few goods. But he must add a second step. Immediately burn the money. DO NOT GIVE IT TO GOVERNMENT!!! Because for every dollar you give to government the government will spend 110% to 120% of it. So if RV is unwilling to finish his easy method - i.e. limit current spending by all government entities to 25% of GDP (In other words, give Pharoah 1/4 of the productive output of my life) then he might be on to something. But if he proposes taking the money to give to a bunch of imbeciles with incentive to give it all away and then further shackle my grandchildren with more crushing debt then there is nothing easy about it.
  21. Big 10 Network better not switch to the pumpkin pushers if the 285s are still wrestling at 9:00. Can they screw the pooch twice in the same day?
  22. What the hell?!? No 285 lb matches so they can switch to choops pre-game!! CRAP.
  23. He would immediately regret a move to bring in scab posters. The quality and volume of posts would drop precipitously. Scabs wouldn't be able to make rate. I wonder if he would stoop so low to hire illegal alien posters?!? Or, worse, AI posters!!! Intelligence like ours cannot be artificialized!! Ridiculed - constantly - but certainly not artificially recreated.
  24. I declare this the winner of the movie scene reference of the day award!! EXCELLENT.
