  1. With the exception of Iowa and psu, VT has one of the higher attendance levels among all programs. And the ACC, particularly VT and the pack have held their own vs the B1G
  2. I don’t remember the exact quote but the Iowa dude he described his mullet after a win. That was hilarious
  3. Andonian wrestled his first official matches past Sunday at the purple Raider open. He won his first two matches convincingly but got hurt in the 3rd match. I heard he wrestled basically with one arm and squeaked a win but forfeited his finals match. Rumor is it’s a shoulder injury. Guess we’ll see if he wrestles Friday vs the pack
  4. Sam was actually improving his position at the stoppage. Very strange call.
  5. He had the loss bug tonight. Sam actually should have scored more points than he did. He could have been sick but Sam was clearly the better wrestler tonight
  6. That kid is good. Tampa Tom is good too but cornello is a step above
  7. There were quite a few questionable calls during the match but that was the most puzzling one. I don’t think they even signaled or explained the call.
  8. No BA for VT. Ulrey will get the start. looking forward to see how Henson does against YD. He’ll push the pace and control center most likely. YD’s experience will likely be the deciding factor but who knows.
  9. BA is still out too. It’ll be a tough out for VT to win the dual but moss arts center is probably one of the best places to watch a match
  10. I’m not feeling good about VT’s chances to get a team trophy as of today. Mehki appears to be banged up and isn’t going in the Cornell match. BA isn’t either and hasn’t wrestled an official match yet
  11. What school is he at now?
  12. I hope Prata gets on the podium. He’s a true team guy and battled some pretty tough injuries. I hated to see him transfer to Oklahoma
  13. Yes sir. Brady took him down with a solid hi-c and kept the match close. Hall’s match was even closer.
  14. Me too. As good as Carter is, I doubt he beats Lewis a third time
  15. Pure VT orange and maroon lens natty champs: 149-Henson 157-BA 174-Lewis Highly unlikely but one of those will win a natty championship in March
  16. I’m a diehard VT fan but if smith retires, coach Pop is a no brainer. He’s an OK State alum (not critical but worth noting) and a proven program builder. He rebuilt binginton and turnt the pack into a perennial top 10 team in a short amount of time. He’s pulling Midwest guys to Raleigh now and his recruiting classes have been highly ranked. He is also known to be great at developing kids not ranked very high into AA guys like Jack. Honestly, he’s great for the ACC and I’d hate to see him go but he’d be a fool to turn the offer if he gets one.
  17. I’ll say Carter.
  18. Brooks took his loss like a man and with the class of a natty champ. I’d hate to be his training partner for the next week or so.
  19. Is Woodley eligible this year second semester only? Or does he have a full year of eligibility?
  20. Epic miscalculation if true
  21. Cenzo might think he’s a hammer since mehki cradled him in the natty finals
  22. I was bummed BA didn’t wrestle. I wanted to see him live against a stud like Jacques. I was glad to be able to see Keegan live. He’s very impressive
  23. VT fan here and Smith is a class act. He doesn’t whine or act like a drama queen like coach pop. I love this dual and hope they keep it an annual event.
  24. BA wrestled Lewan. He was hurt then too and got injured in the wrestle off
  25. After watching mehki’s match tonight and his loss the labs, it looks like he’s attempting to be more offensive vs reattacks. He struggled to finish on labs but did better tonight vs mocco. He had two other shots that were almost TDs tonight. He’ll need to polish his finishes up to beat Carter.
