  1. As honored as I am to be quoted by a 3 time NCAA champion, I don’t really want to hear that right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Eventually having Forrest-Vega-Wolbert-Robideau-Rutledge-Lockett all in a row would be unreal. Not to mention Hughes and Mccomas. Merrill and Ross up top. Melvin Miller seems like a perfect fit there in 2027 if he turns into a 184 as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I think Ryder will be there, and Barr continues to grow into 197. Hot take but I don’t think the Mirasola’s end up seeing the mat much. The bigger one is going to be a tiny heavyweight and the smaller one will lose to Barr. There are certainly people with more insight than me into that room, but from an outside perspective that’s what I’m leaning toward. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Kid obviously works super hard, is extremely talented, and where he commits is deserving of a lot of headlines. Could shift the landscape of this sport as we know it. I don’t blame him one bit for extending out the process and making headlines. Wish more kids did it, actually. Football and basketball do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 125 Flynn over Mccrone 3-0 133 Bouzakis over Wells 3-3 141 Mendez over Vombaur 3-6 149 Demilio major Roberts 3-10 157 Askey over Sasso 6-10 165 Sparks over Gallagher 9-10 174 Kharchla major Whiting 9-14 184 McEnelly over Rogotzke 13-14 this match will be crazy 197 Salazar over Shumate 16-14 285 Gable major Feldman 19-14 Ohio state could certainly flip 125, 157 or 165 though. This is kind of best case scenario for gophers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Scientifically speaking, I have no choice but to accept Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Okie state gets Bassett and Forrest (and eventually Melvin Miller) and Iowa gets the Raney twins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. As long as people still refer to the gophs as Minny, I will say Okie State. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think McEnelly beats Arnold but loses to Ferrari Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The high crotch to a double that Clayton Whiting just hit on Jackson Turley for the win could be teach tape in every wrestling room in the world. Thing of beauty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 60% Penn state 35% Okie State 5% the field Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Rutgers takes 125, 133, 149 and 174. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Rivera and Condon can grow into very good wrestlers in the right room. Not convinced this is the right room. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Easily the most important sporting event for Ohio State fans tonight, I’m sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My family fondue’s on Christmas Day, been our tradition since the 80’s. Lots of venison, shrimp, anything wrapped in bacon. Have a cheese fountain and a chocolate fountain to go with other foods. I may feel grease pumping through my arteries for a week after, but man it’s great in the moment. 16. Well if he punches him, he’s surely going to be out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Before Gable came back, sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. No Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Mspart, I enjoy your posts, but you strike me as a guy in need of a vacation Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Biggest difference between what happened to ASU and what happened to the gophers imo is the guys ASU lost are all on their last year of competition. So while it obviously has a huge impact on this season it shouldn’t change a lot of long term plans, they should have already been looking at replacements. When the gophers lost Spratley, Nagao and Jamison they each had 3+ years left and the gophers were left scrambling, not just for the year it happened but also the 3 years following. That’s much more impactful and worse imo. Also, it didn’t just “happen” to the gophers, they did not do enough to keep those guys around and should have, but I love the lessons learned and the way they rebounded. 21. Who did they lose? Gained Julian Tagg too. Managed to keep Devos and Berge, who I’m sure got plenty of calls to jump ship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That was fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I think Millard will replace Askey at 157. Sparks will be replaced Brenner or transfer imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I agree with the sentiment of this message, but I’m pumping the brakes on Blaze as likely champ in 2026 while Mendez and Alirez still have eligibility, and same on SVN until he shows he can stay healthy for a whole season and beat Henson. Also this got me thinking, what’s Joe Sealey doing? That kid is good as hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I’m willing to put it out there that I think college wrestling ceasing to exist is more likely than there being a legitimate team race in the next 5-6 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
