  1. Bro... ever hear of context? I was responding to a dude who said PSU wrestlers would never be involved with gambling because it is a sin. I brought up Nickal, and have said elsewhere in this thread that I don't have an issue with it. Nor do I have an issue with the punishment. Thank you in advance for your apology, sir!
  2. He has a job that pays him a lot of money. That is his priority.
  3. I think he was in the 230s last season. He seems to have become a worse heavyweight as his physical appearance has improved.
  4. You would hope, but this is precipitous. Worse than Freestyle. Also, other nations look to have improved. Losing a few years of their athletic primes won't help either. Covid and now this.
  5. I am all for rule questioning, but it is the rule at the moment, and he knew it. Wish these guys were eligible, and I think they got a bit of a raw deal, but I understand.
  6. From both nations combined: 26 points. Only two medals. One man left in repechage. Tied for 7th. (I repeat... both BLR and RUS combined!)
  7. Exactly. Very much "Team Z." That was what I was referring to in my response to PA in Taiwan. Also "Putin supporting."
  8. I can't believe how Russian Greco has fallen off.
  9. They claim he had it right after the tourney! (on his social media)
  10. I am not sure what "muscle-bound" means, but I don't think anyone said Taz looked like Bolt. But this is a guy who came out of nowhere this year, took some losses during the year, and then had an all-time great debut. I'm not really sure that being "technical" and "fluid" and "not muscle-bound" exonerates anyone from doping. Do you think Alexander Leipold was clean? Not musclebound. Very smooth. Lance Armstrong. Not musclebound. Must be clean.
  11. Well, you got some of the stuff on Saduleev right. As for the Iranian fans and Taylor: Check out Taylor's social media feed on a daily basis, or check their crowd reactions to him after he dismantled Yazdani in 22.
  12. I said it was shady, because I was responding to a previous post that said PSU wrestlers would never gamble, because it is a sin. Honestly, I really don't care, but Bo Nickal, whom is around the PSU kids every day has a sponsorship with a gambling app. Not very NLWC of him!
  13. I think that was the issue to a degree as well. My question now is : Can he get back to form 11 months after a disc surgery?
  14. I'm not an expert, but can he reasonably hope to come back anywhere near 100% from this alleged injury in just 11 months?
  15. You likely need to get out more, if that is the case. Let me guess; This is because she's a woman, and you expect women to only behave in a certain fashion?
  16. An NLWC athlete/coach who trains with the PSU wrestlers on a daily basis has a deal with a sports betting company. A bit shady! Why is he even allowed into the training facility?
  17. The "war heroes" post wasn't really the appropriate place for you to editorialize.
  18. This is the poster who enjoys going out of his way to diminish the accolades of WW2 heroes.
  19. How about Olympics? 84, 96, 2000?
  20. https://nittanylionswire.usatoday.com/2023/02/16/former-penn-state-wrestler-bo-nickal-signs-deal-with-betr/
  21. I mean, I have seen PSU fans and other Iowa/Brands haters positively giddy over this. They act like its about "institutional control" and I've even seen some idiots remark "notice how no PSU athletes were caught." There is a good chance PSU wrestlers have bet on college sports over the past couple years, but the state of PA did not go after underage gambling and they definitely did not target the top collegiate athletic programs in the state.
  22. Please tell me about all the other states that did a similar investigation... That is what is uneven.
