  1. It was there. I saw it.
  2. Already been posted on... Minnow beat you to it, mang.
  3. Looking at the card, it looks insane for USA wrestling fans. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/101316-bellator-mma https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/762665-bellator-mma-logan-storm-storley-vs-irish-brennan-ward https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/764518-bellator-298-michael-blockhus-vs-eli-mefford https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/772722-bellator-298-max-rated-r-rohskopf-vs-jairo-mumuzinho-pacheco https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/773979-bellator-298-bryce-misfit-meredith-vs-alberto-angel-rodriguez
  4. Looks as if he is making his debut. The weight appears to be at 145 against a guy who is 0W - 1L at 135lbs and taller than him. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/777853-bellator-298-jordan-oliver-vs-andrew-triolo
  5. Your statement can be true in two ways. He can never wrestle again, which makes it undoubtedly true, and he can not make 197lbs collegiately again. Which one do you think it will be?
  6. I 'heard' from a 'reputable' 'source' that 'Iowa' 'was' petitioning to 'have' 'up to' 'three' 'gents' per 'weight' entered in to 'the' postseason.
  7. I think there was a Davison, MI team in the early 2000s that had an insane number of D1 starters on it as well. Something like 13 total, 8 starting? Now we mostly know of the Donahoe, Metcalf, and Readers - but there were more that went to MAC and lower B1G schools.
  8. Some people, not saying Lee did this, try to win every second of every match. Doing that that might put you down even more than you should be very early and against a guy who's gas tank is ~90 seconds long, if you don't show patience you will lose via Tech. Actually, I am saying that is what happened. Through the WTT process Lee showed an incredible amount of patience in several of his matches. If he does that against Musukaev, he wins.
  9. I didn't pick and choose random results. I picked the stats from all of his results combined of the last two seasons. I also picked the only common opponent he had at both the last two NCAAs, which is when it actually matters. They are both very significant when judging his legacy in Folkstyle aren't they?
  10. Why you got to go there? He will be right there when it matters.
  11. Where does that kid from Purdue rank? The one who decked him while winning (at Folkstyle)?
  12. If he was serious he would. I don't think he has the same definition of serious as we common folk do. We used to cut a LOT of weight back in the day. Even then, I wouldn't have cut down to 125 from 134 after wrestling the season at 134. In fact, I didn't.
  13. What about his regression when dealing with McGee? He went form beating McGee 5-1 to losing to him 2-1. Those matches looked vastly different. It wasn't McGee improving (only). He looked very mortal against some mediocre opponents this last season (McGee's bonus point percentage dropped nearly 10%). Of note as well... Fix's bonus point total dropped nearly 15% last season. So looking 'better than ever' appears inaccurate.
  14. I thought Focus was going 285 as well. Also, I heard from a reputable source that Iowa was petitioning to allow up to three per weight. I naturally assumed this was because they were going for 1-2-3 at 285. Please lower your standards on reputable, source, petitioning, allow, three, per weight, and obviously the heard part.
  15. I am okay if you add Spencer Lee... For clarity...
  16. You put Aaron Brooks behind Zahid, whom he just beat at a lower weight?
  17. I think the internal probe wasn't just focused on Football, just that Football had the worst of it when it came to light.
  18. If you hover over that there GIF you just posted it says "KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS REALITY and that is all that I need to know about you to generate an opinion based on all Iowa fans. Apologies @VakAttack. He ruined it for the rest of you.
  19. Oh god. People actually saying Chiggy is better than Nebraska or even... *GASP* ... Iowa... FOR. SHAME!
  20. I am a huge fan of all that is USAWrestling and their success. Despite my hating on Blue Dragons, I was fully in support of Downey. It was disappointing that he lost to a guy that Amine beat the very next round. That tells me that Amine > Downey five years ago fwiw (that was 174lb Amine, too). This all said, ignoring actual results seems silly. I get that JB won 45 times and only lost twice to Dake and once to Taylor, however they hold the most recent win(s). This said, Dake is also 452W - 1L against Taylor and the loss to Taylor was from either 8th grade or 9th grade. It doesn't make sense to give that a proportionate amount of weight. Even though Dake does not have the Olympic gold, he beat JB in the process as well as is 452W - 1L against Taylor (despite many believing Taylor should have won every match).
  21. It's a spoof on the Cinny Jimmabons 'Why don't nobody say nuffin about No Bickal's recent dubyah in da MMA. Not even da phyte bored says nuffin about it, Ahyuck."
  22. Honestly? The guy is named after the Iowa GOAT.. Rushmore of all USA Wrestling GOAT. Let him go out living that dream. Idgaf. What does Cassioppi do? Drop to 197? Is that even possible?
  23. Dare I say that is solid 3rd Tier. Maybe bottom of 3rd tier, but solid, nonetheless. I don't see my Spartans really contending with that lineup.
  24. Pretty excited to see what the trio of Heethus (Princeton), Davis (Penn State), and Horwath (Michigan) do. They kind of fly under the radar when it comes to lighter weights, but I believe all three can be a factor at the weight as soon as this season (hopefully no injuries happen to the gents in front of them to be clear).
  25. Honestly I thought his replacement opponent was better. I thought Bo was going to win fairly easily in both scenarios. He needs a T15 opponent in his next fight. Give him someone like Brunson.
