  1. I did, too. I did think he would be 157 for last year, though, prior to Jacques coming back.
  2. Apologies.
  3. Woah. Mauller at 157?
  4. @Wrestleknownothing Educate this toon?
  5. Shook? Is it shook?
  6. I got that already. It is still a bullshit copout sort of response.
  7. I for some reason read that as Haines. Haines does. Mesenbrink does not.
  8. 9. Yep.
  10. I don't think we see Hendrickson there. They should try to tab Yonger Bastida as a replacement ASAP.
  11. Mesenbrink is currently enrolled, meaning he can't Olyshirt.
  12. Doesn't matter, mate. None were 'granted' a fifth year. Stalrocci was.
  13. Ah, okay. I misread that. For that, I do apologize.
  14. WFS 72 KG - Amit Elor wins her Gold medal match to a gentlewoman from India via a 10-0 Tech in 22S.
  15. I have to do it from the computer today. People got mad at me for calling people from Japan and Poland, respectively not as people from Japan and Poland? So I adjusted for the day. It's been a rough day.
  16. WFS 57 KG - Macey Kilty loses her Bronze medal match to a gentlewoman from India via a 5-4 Decision on a late takedown.
  17. This isn't a thing. Was not approved.
  18. Really not sure what you are saying here as your comment is kind of all over. Who hasn't wrestled 184 in ages? Shumate? Hoffman? I very much doubt Hoffman dropping to 184 has anything to do with Geog or Shumate and more to do with him having a much higher chance at a NC (or at the very least a high AA) at 184 this year than at 197. If you are referring to Shumate... he wrestled 184 last year. He beat Poznanski last year at 184.
  19. WFS 57 KG - Xochitl Mota Pettis loses her Bronze medal match to a gentlewoman from Turkey via 4-3 in a last second exchange that the Turkey gentlewoman won. Was 3-3 and challenged by XMS, in favor of the Turkey gentlewoman.
  20. I don't agree. That said, I am happy to be wrong.
  21. He also got injured recently did he not?
  22. 67 KG - The gentleman from Turkey that Perez lost to won his semifinal match over a gentleman from Japan. Perez has been pulled back in to Repechage. Perez is still alive for Bronze. 82 KG - The gentleman from Egypt that Eischens lost to has lost his semifinal match to a gentleman from Turkey. Ergo he will not be pulled back in to Repechage. 97 KG - The gentleman from Armenia that Lautt lost to has lost his semifinal match to a gentleman from Belarus. Ergo he will not be pulled back in to Repechage.
  23. A few other 'key' matchups... at least for Michigan standards... Abounader would have tied Parker in the consi-semis at 6-6 to send it in to overtime rather than a . That match was SUPER chippy. Parker got an escape with 9S remaining to win it 6-5. Maybe he doesn't get that escape? At 174 Amine would have beaten Lewis outright via 3-2 Decision for 3rd rather than in OT. At 165 Massa would have beaten Rogers in the Consis with a 2-1 TD edge and would not have gone in to OT. Aside for one match where he decided to be more Massa than ThugMassa G against Valencia, he owned that rivalry - so Massa would have brought home AA honors... perhaps making a run to third (he was 50/50 with Wick basically... and holds the advantage on McFadden and Marstellar in their careers. Walsh would have been a wildcard match). At 157 Pantaleo still gets beat up by Kemererereer on the backside and soundly beats Jordan for 5th. At 149 Amine beats Hayes in their first round via having a 1-0 TD edge and the match doesn't go in to OT. He is in the match against Blees of VT and Heilmann of North Carolina. Wouldn't that have been wild? At 133 Micic basically stays the same. At 125 Mattin loses on the backside to Lizak 18-7 rather than 17-6.
  24. Are you saying the gap between Shumate and Hoffman (former AA at 197) is less than the gap between Shumate and Geog?
