  1. Pretty sure Russia is running away with the U23 title at this point, right?
  2. Our Kazahk lost. 12-7.
  3. Or... Stanford?
  4. Might he be pulling a Cornell? Meaning Greyshirt?
  5. Two things: - He didn't blow through the field. He blew through his finals opponent. Three of four matches prior to that were full six minute matches. - He didn't have DT in any sort of jeopardy at all, ever. I think 197 is as deep as it has ever been, even without Focus in the mix. I also think that O'Toole was working through something. Benji has eluded to this when asked how he beat him so badly after being controlled so soundly before and he had said he was dealing with things, injury and personal. I know nobody wrestles without injury, but at that level they make a big difference. When it matters most... NCAAs... Carr isn't beating him. A full-sized Stalrocci isn't being touched by anyone at 174lbs. He can win 2-0 and still dominate every aspect of the match. It's impressive. Arujau... if he keeps improving might not be touchable by anyone even if he is decending to 57 KG after NCAAs.
  6. Damn it. ***duck duck goose** cunts.
  7. For Olyshirt I thought they couldn't be enrolled, period. I assumed (keep in mind how you spell ass u me) that if they certified with the team it meant they were enrolled.
  8. Such lame.
  9. The Kazahk who beat Public Enemy #1 is on Mat B right now.
  10. That Azeri ran the GAUNTLET today, man, before beating Zapf. Three matches on the backside, 11-0, 10-2, 9-2.
  11. Zapf is up in two on Mat B.
  12. --- P1 --- 4M30S - 4P throw Georgia, 2 TD Hardy, Georgia was on the clock at the time of this. 4-2 Georgia END OF FIRST --- P2 --- 2M33S - Red Challenge, looking for a 2 TD there. He clearly had the knee down, it seems? I think he gets it. He doesn't. 5-2 Georgia 1M50S - 2 TD Hardy 5-4 Georgia 1M5S - 2 TD Hardy (wicked scramble) 6-5 Hardy 10S - 2 TD Hardy 8-5 Hardy END OF MATCH
  13. So this is how they are running the Medal matches, btw. Mat A and Mat B both run the Bronze matches simultaneously. Then Mat B runs the Gold match. Mat B is in the center, so that is why. That said... we are out at 57 KG... Hardy is up 2nd on Mat A, though.
  14. He got small while in there, too, apparently?
  15. He also certified, meaning he is enrolled (assumption?). McHenry is right in the thick of R12/R16/NQ gents. He has the results to show that. He is just a little guy.
  16. Kennedy Blades punches her ticket to the U23 76 KG finals with a 28S 10-0 Tech over Lithuania. Early signs point to her facing off against an Indian in Reetika Reetika. Reetika lost to Skylar Grote at 72 KG via 4-0 Decision at the 2023 Zagreb earlier this year. She also lost to Amit Elor at the 2022 U20 Worlds via 12-1 Tech at 72 KG.
  17. Mesenbrink has certified already, so I believe an Olyshirt is out. Both Haines and Mesenbrink certified between 157.1 and 165.0 for their weigh-in. That means they are both under 165.0 already. If one 'shirts, I believe it will be Haines. McHenry is a more-than-capable insurance policy. He is the immediate option of Howard goes down with an injury (again). Kerk is still a transfer and adds to the 'who has more transfers' talk.
  18. Lange is out at 68 KG. Her Russo lost in the semi-finals to a Turk. Ergo she will not be pulled back in to Repechage.
  19. Moore is out at 59 KG. Rankin lost via a quick 1M20S Tech to the Ukrainian. Ergo she will not be pulled back in to Repechage.
  20. - They filled two (2) holes well and proper. - Technically three (3) holes have been filled via Transfer. - Potentially four (4) holes may be fililed before the end of the year - Possible for five (5) holes to have been filled if injuries hit a certain shoulderless 125lber.
  21. It appears Howk is out at 55 KG as the Russo lost to her Indian opponent. Ergo she will not be pulled back in to Repechage.
  22. Jimenez wins her semi-finals 7-4 over the Azeri. She will face Japan's Umi Ito. Ito hasn't seen the second period in three Techs today and has outscored opponents 33-2. She beat Jimenez via 10-0 Tech at 2020 U20s for Gold.
  23. Oh Matside for that? That would be awesome. I would be all for that one.
  24. Of note... it doesn't look like McGowen has certified for Princeton. That makes me feel as if Heethus will get the nod for them this year. Pretty stoked about that.
  25. I meant Iowa would be the frontrunner for little brother if big brother went there. Potentially, that is.
